Had four days here over bank holiday weekend, Really handy base for the excellent walks in the area, childen loved the play area especially the chickens in the shed!
Plenty off pubs within 1-5 miles serving good food. Site pretty much level all over and some hardstandings for caravans.
Plenty of hot water in showers. Would definately return in near future.

What a lovely campsite. Only small site not far from a Caravan Club Site, with views of the countryside and 10 mins from the motorway. Quite difficult to find in the dark, but very helpful owner who didn't mind us arriving late. Pitches seemed to be hard standing although there were probably some on the grass. Tent area also and some caravan storage.
At the back or top end of the site is a wood and a childrens play area which my four loved. It wasn't quite a tree house, but it was on legs and situated underneath a very large tree and spent alot of their time there. Also area with a couple of goals to play football on. Showers were clean and water hot and there is also an indoor games room with table tennis as well as a sauna, which you need to book in advance. No laundry as it is still being built.
Really good rates caravan, awning and electric was £11.50. Definately worth a visit.
