Brilliant stay. Really good surprise - it was a last minute booking. Great location so close to the river and you can walk to nearby pubs. We went off season so it wasn't overly busy on the funfair adjacent. We'd definitely rebook this site - basic shower facilities but they were hot and working! Very clean site.

We found this site online, and booked on the telephone. This proved difficult as the owner was very difficult to communicate with.
The site was very clean and tidy, but we were pitching a tent and there was not sufficient space or access to the tiny area for campers and tents. There are no facilities nearby other than a paid shower and toilets which were unlit at night.
The site was very noisy at night, being beside a full scale funfair and bars.
On departure, we had to wake the owner up at 8.30 in the morning to get our £10 key deposit back, and he was not very happy about this, and made that clear.
Being objective, this site is a static site with a small inadequate area for tourers.
