Suburb modern hygienic, clean facilities with a view and a short walk of and from Hay.
Easy to locate, access to many public footpaths and national walkways.
I will be returning.

Smart site, space for parking and space for tents or caravans are especially well thought out.
Small, quiet site a short dstance from the town, it's got all the basics well covered. Always seems to be an Offa's Dyke walker or three
Having visited before - The place is consistently clean, tidy and well maintained, there's a genuine care about the place from the owners. The multiple recycling bins are well labelled, there's a fridge and decent washing up area indoors (pandemic permitting)
The fast reply to availability enquiry always helps!
Ideal for anyone in need of an actual peaceful rest.

Spotless site with excellent facilities. 50p for shower which gives adequate time.
Owner Joanna very friendly.
Only a 10 minute walk to Hay-on-Wye downhill slightly more on way back.
Town full of book shops and on a Thursday there’s a town market to browse around

We loved the campsite. It is quiet and very friendly; the facilities are very good and very clean.
We were made to feel very welcome.
The campsite has beautiful views over Hay on Wye and is within easy walking distance to the town centre.
The area around Hay has great hiking.

This was probably the best site we have stayed on.
Easy access ( our motor home is 7. 3m ), level pitch and great views.
Quiet and access to Montgomery canal just across the road.
We cycled to Welshpool and Powys castle one way and to Llanmynech the other.
Would definitely go again.

A friendly welcome from the owners. The site has spectacular views out towards Hay on Wye. Red Kites a regular site over the area. Sight and facilities are spotless.
The only negative is a small amount of road noise, but that does mean Hay is only a 10 minute walk away.
Plenty of walks in the area, canoeing and of course book shops.
We will be returning

Lovely, quiet, clean, friendly campsite.
Great showers. 50p gives you plenty of hot water, a good temperature.
Near to the town of Hay-on-Wye and the river.
Red kites flying above fields.
Will definitely return.

Lovely small site a half mile out of Hay on Wye with fantastic view down over the town and valley.
Very friendly and helpful owners. A warm greeting.
Toilet/shower facilities shut owing to Covid regulations.
Lots of walks from the site.
Recommended.
