We have visited this site twice already this year and are heading back later today. It is a fabulous 5* site where you are able to go and relax with your pet's, as we have more than the average 2/3 dogs we find it difficult to find sites that will accept all of us.
The owners have been very welcoming and friendly and greet us in both English and Welsh they have put together lot's of local information but are happy to help with any additional information you want.
We would recommend this site to everyone as although it is quiet and relaxing there's plenty of things to do nearby.

A lovely clean, well maintained site. The shower facilities were top notch. Some gorgeous beaches near by. Abersoch and llanbedrog.
A nice dog walking area for our dog as it is her holiday as well.
A little too far away from the beach for us but other wise excellent.

Wow, booked this site at the last minuet. So lucky to get a pitch on this very beautiful site.
The site is very well maintained, the pitches are extremely spacious. One of the best things about this site is that the owners have thought carefully about their pitches, whilst more could be added it's nice that they have chosen not to and thus allowing fewer pitches gives a lovely open feel to the site. The Willows campsite is very relaxing and quiet.
The shower/toilet and washing up facilities are 5* immaculately clean with the added benefit of some of the best views I've seen from a campsite.
The dog exercise field is spacious enough for a good game of ball. The children's playing area is next to the dog field, goal post and a swing ball are provided. No need for anything more as this area is packed with things to do and plentiful beaches to choose from, Abersoch is within walking distance.
The owners are very friendly and have boundless knowledge of the area.
Local walks are plentiful although some paths are not very well maintained which made some of our walks a bit of a puzzle, but you cannot get lost.
The many beaches of the area are all amazing with great scenery, most are dog friendly which is a great bonus for us. Nearby Llanbedrog beach has a large car park ( ideal for our Motorhome)its run by the national trust. £3. 00 all day. There are beach huts available for hire, daily or weekly, which are beautifully maintained and add to the attraction of the beach. There is also a Bistro on the beach, which was highly recommended by another couple staying on the campsite.
Abersoch is a really lovely destination, numerous places to eat out, and lovely individual shops. No supermarket just a small Londis grocery shop. We tend to take all our meals with us, but we did have lunch in Abersoch at the lovely little Deli, fantastic fresh baguettes filled to the brim.
Families will have no problem in finding something to do every day in this lovely area of Wales, come rain or shine.
All in all one of the loveliest campsites we have stayed on. With owners on site who are never intrusive but on hand to give any advice on where to walk, and which beaches allow dogs on all year round. We have fallen in love with the Llyn Peninsula and surrounding areas.

Just returned from our first visit of the year and as usual we were not disappointed. The welcome from Anna and Miles was as warm as ever and the site improvements are great. The touring pitches now have their own water, electric and waste water disposal and also tv booster but we have never had to use this as the tv reception has always been good for us. The new 'eye pod' along with the hobbits are really something different for anyone who doesn't have a caravan or doesn't fancy camping well worth trying for a stay in this beautiful part of Wales. The toilet block facilities are second to none and always clean and we have never had to wait to use the showers. This is an ideal site to use to explore the area with lots of good walks near the site or only a short drive away, Anna and Miles are more than happy to show you which beaches are dog friendly and also have plenty of information about what is going on in the area. We have a couple of dogs who love the site as much as we do, the exercise field is the largest we have found, its lovely to let your dogs have a good run round and you can stand and enjoy the views and wild life which included a pair of buzzards we had not seen before. This site is peaceful and quiet, with the superb views from all around the site the perfect place to chill, relax and take some time out to recharge the batteries. Well worth a visit, can't recommend it enough.

Arrived to a warm welcome from the owners Anna and Miles. The site is immaculately maintained with nice plants and shrubbery, the facilities are of a high standard. The views from the site are wonderful.
The sites location is ideal to explore the Llyn Peninsular. We also enjoyed the Foel Gron walk and Hell's mouth beach. On our next visit we will try a boat trip and discover more of the coastal wildlife.
Will definitely recommend.

Really nice campsite, nice facilities and great views.
We arrived at 8pm and left the following day due to bad weather at 4pm to be told we had to pay a further half a day. Just thought that this was a bit unfair as the campsite was near enough empty and it wasn't like we were taking anyone's space up. We were asked to pay an extra £15 on top of £36, so for less than 24 hours it cost us £51 just for a pitch so felt this was bad customer service.
Also if you need to charge your phone make sure you bring your own charger as it's only a plug socket they provide not a multi adaptor charging unit.

Management response: Thank you for your review.
The pitch that was reserved was a premium pitch and available use from 2pm onwards. Permitted arrival time is therefore after 2pm.
This customer originally booked one night, the following morning she requested another night stay. And the pitch was booked out to her until the following day.
During the day we had to refuse bookings for that particular much sought after pitch which has stunning views.
This customer also requested a dog minding service for that evening which we arranged.
When we later asked for the customer to come and pay she said they were going home.
It is standard on most campsites for half a day fee to be applied if guests depart late. This was explained to the customer. We did not charge for the booked dog minding service.
We do not advertise that we have a multi adaptor charging unit. |

This is a very nice well kept site with all fields well maintained. There is one touring caravan field with all pitches clearly defined with either a low fence or hedge and each pitch has its own water point and some with grey water disposal as well. The grounds are well maintained with well cut grass and flower beds. Upon arrival every thing was explained in a very friendly manner by the owner and a pitch allocated. The toilets were very modern and clean and everything worked. The only criticism is that you cannot go on until 2pm and must be off by 11am. I appreciate that the final approach is narrow and would present problems should two caravans meet, so why not 12am and 1 pm respectively.
This site is located on the Southern Llyn Peninsular close to Abersoch so within easy reach of all the delights the area can offer.
All in all a very nice site that we would visit again.

Management response: Thank you for you review and complimentary comments. Your feedback is important to us and points raised by guests are always considered.
With regards to your suggestion why not 12am departure and 1pm arrival. The reason is as you have already pointed out we only have one entry and exit. Should a caravan motorhome be late departing because they have broken down or the car refuses to start, or motor mover jammed, broken jockey wheel etc these events do often happen. The greater turnaround time allows for such instances, and avoids the likely hood of two units meeting at our entry.
In addition we are a small family run business (just husband and wife ) and in the turn around time we need to mow and strim, answer enquires, clean toilets and other amenities ( Hobbits, Eye-Pod and Park home ) assist guests, plus other unexpected happenings, and also at some point we do need to have lunch! An hour hour turn around time would not be workable.
We trust you understand our reasoning for our times. Thank you one again for your feedback. |

This is every bit the 5 star site the owners advertise it as, beautifully kept. Anna and Miles gave us a very friendly welcome, let us know that they were there if needed but unlike another review did not feel that they were overbearing and hardly saw them through out the visit
Went with my older parents and was a little concerned that with my mum being deaf we might be a little loud for the other campers, it really is a very QUIET site but everything was fine,
I would like to book it for a weekend with my grown up kids and two grand kids but even though they are all very well behaved and don't stay up late, feel we would be better going on a more family site and keep this for when there is only us.
It is a good 45 mins round trip to the local pub so no good to walk, and 2 hour round trip to Abersoch.
Excellent dog friendly site
Will definitely book this site again,

A lovely site. Facilities immaculate and modern; even lockers to charge mobile phones and laptops.
Pitches rather close together but all arranged around the edge of a small field with a pretty garden in the centre. Unfortunately not fully serviced as advertised on this website, no water on pitch but there is grey waste, electric and tv point.
Very quiet site with a number of rules which the owners insist are adhered to. That suited us and judging by the number of seasonal pitches it is welcomed by the majority.
Children are not allowed to play games around the caravans and tents and dogs have to be tethered or on a lead except on the dog exercise field. There is a field with small equipment for children to play on. This meant we could sit outside the caravan, enjoy the sunshine without being attacked by stray balls or dogs! Our dog enjoyed meeting other dogs in the field.
The site is very convenient for a number of beaches. Most are dog friendly. Beautiful coastal path walks.
Good local pub with well cooked food ; also good restaurant on beach.
We found people very friendly and helpful in the area.
Although on the pricey side we will return to this lovely site.

This is definitely one of the best sites we have visited. We are a fit and active couple in our early sixties.
We were lucky enough to visit during a spell of gorgeous weather but I don't think much could detract from the quality of the site.
Arrival is via a narrowish lane but there are only a few residences at one end and arrival and departure times are well staggered. Check-in was easy with a £10 deposit needed for the electronic barrier entry key. We had booked a hard standing which had waste water drainage and was very level. The grass pitches looked pretty level too. Miles checked that we were able to reverse the van and we saw him helping others onto their pitches. Anna popped down to check everything was fine once we were set up. She offered to lend us extra pipes for the drains if we needed them. The pitches were of adequate size and arranged around the outside of the field, meaning that we didn't feel 'surrounded'.
The toilet block was excellent, spotlessly clean, dual flush toilets, plenty of hot water, hair dryers, motion sensor lighting. There was heating in there as well for colder seasons. The view outside the block was to die for! It made us wish we were in the camping field as it shared the view - down across Pwllheli and Criccieth to Snowdonia.
Laundry room, mobile phone charging points, dish washing facilities, well-stocked info hut, fridge and freezer for campers, children's play area, dog exercise field were all provided. Unfortunately Gwynedd CC don't offer a recycling collection but that's not the owners fault.
We were blown away by the beauty of the area. We last visited in our teens but had missed the beautiful beaches, harbours, mountains and quirky little towns - well we were 'teenagers in love' at the time. I know we saw it at its best but we will certainly be back. Well done and keep up the good work
