Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. We loved it. Though we're not massively experienced in a caravan (more so in a tent), we commented a lot on how it was a different experience for us - so tranquil, calm, access lie. The owner set just the right balance of helpful supportiveness, vs non-intrusiveness. We had a lot of choice about where to pitch.
Whilst I know this doesn't exactly fall under the responsibility of the site, it was wonderful that our neighbours on both sides helped us put up our 'new to us' awning! It was a lovely, friendly, welcoming place, and an absolute bargain.
The facilities were great. Even though they amounted to a kind of portacabin, they were skinned in logs, and done out very nicely inside, and were spotless.
The 6A supply wasn't a problem for us (though we did trip it once with a heater) but I include the info here for completeness. In a similar vein, the site isn't perfectly level, though - it's in the Shropshire hills - I don't suppose it would be! It totally wasn't a problem for us, but I mention it here.
I felt it would be useful to put a sign up advising caravans not to drive round the corner towards the owners house. I had thought this is what we needed to do to check in, but the owner quickly came out to advise against it. No big deal - just feedback.
Wonder, wonderful site - loved it.

Just come back from a great time only booked for four nights ended up staying the week, the owners were great very friendly gave us lots of information about the area, the most wonderful walks especially the one at the side the camp it's a must the circular walk breath talking.
Good shower facility's very clean plenty of hot water. No light pollution so for star gazers it's a dream we were lucky with the weather so breakfast and BBQ sat out in the sun.
Plenty of places for food craven arms pub, the swan, Indian Chinese and two local chippys, and the local supermarket Tuffins is the quirkiest I've ever been to you can get everything from there and I meen everything. This is a gem of a site will definitely return.

Having stayed at this site from Friday till Sunday we found the owners very friendly and helpful and would highly recommend this site, the surrounding area is very scenic and as lovely walks for you and dogs, not very far from craven arms or a nice drive to Ludlow castle and town, will most definitely be returning, it as a new toilet block outside washing up but it is under cover also it as a dog walking area.

This site is ideally situated not far from Craven Arms. Access for a caravan is very good and pitches are flat. The owners are friendly and we had no issues during our stay for a week. This is a site for those who like a quiet, relaxing holiday without the trappings of larger more complex sites. The site is a good base for walking in the area and shops with all you want are in Craven Arms.

From the moment I contacted this site the welcome and helpful attitude could not have been better.
This continued on arrival, they have not owned the site for a long time, but are already hard at work expanding and improving the facilities.
It is in the tomtom in poi camp sites.
It is rated as a adult only site, but well behaved children and dogs are no problem at all.
Only fault, not able to stay longer

What a gem. Lovely site with fantastic views. Units are well spaced out so lots of privacy. The owners could not have been more helpful when we had a problem with the electricity supply. The new shower block is not quite finished but the individual cubicles are very clean and spacious.
There is road noise from a busy b road at the front of the site, but after a while stopped hearing it. The site is in the middle of the countryside.

Very quiet site, just what we were looking for, set in beautiful surroundings just a mile or two out of Craven Arms. The road is busy during the day but quiet at night, but be aware that there is no footpath if you wanted to walk down into Craven Arms.
The toilet block is new and spotless, didn't have to wait to use the facilities even though there were only two showers.
The owners were new to the site but seemed to know the area well and were very helpful.
Definitely worth a return visit!

Just returned from our one night stay at what is a simple, quiet, well equipped camp site. Run by Brian and his wife, they provide a warm and friendly welcome. New shower/washroom facilities are super clean and provide all that you would need, so long as a hair dryer is installed at some point. Wash up sink under cover is more than adequate.
We didn't need the hard standing pitches or electric hook up as we pitched up on the camping field in our VW T4 van which was all we needed.
Greenway by name and nature, nicely landscaped with wonderful views we parked as near to the shower block as we wanted on level grass next to a stand of maturing trees.
The feel of the place is tranquil and peaceful, not a site for noisy parties or families, rather for those seeking a relaxing rural location, surrounded by fields, trees and rolling hillside.
Site fees were very reasonable, especially given the showers are all free.
It's a few miles from the local town, Craven Arms, which has all that you would need for shopping, fuel and more.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, Ludlow being our target for an evening out with some sight seeing the next day. So much more to see we'll certainly be back and would happily stay at Greenway again. Thank you Brian, good luck with your first season, I'm sure you'll do very well. Colin & Julia - Oxford

The site is easily accessed from the B4368, but heed the owner's warning about satnavs trying to send you up an alley next to the site! Herein lies the main problem with the site, depending on your sensibilities: road noise. I must point out that the road is very quiet at night, with very little traffic. However, during the day there is a fair bit, although the site is set back a little from the road so it's not too bad - more of a gentle whoosh in the background from time to time. Saturday was the worst day, but again, it was quiet at night.
The site is nicely laid out with 7 spacious, fairly level hardstanding pitches and 3 glamping pods. Prices for the touring pitches, all with 6amp hook ups, are competitive at £15 a night. There is a recently semi completed wash block with currently one large shower and toilet and a washing pots area under cover. Some of the other rooms have not been fitted out yet, and the new, vey friendly owners, (Brian & Jane) are intending to re-jig things to make better use of the space available. In fact this was happening towards the end of our stay, so there is probably another toilet and sink cubicle by now. The shower is a pushbutton type, (free) although you can't change the temperature as far as I could see, but it was fine anyway. There is also another toilet in a shed which is perfectly satisfactory. Water pressure for filling your tank is excellent. There is wifi available through Caravan Connect (for a fee), but 3G works if you prefer, or, for free wifi, go to the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms and sit in the cafe (no purchase necessary. ) TV reception works if you know where to point your aerial! To start with, I couldn't get a signal, but then I copied a fellow caravanner and all was well!
There is a large grassy area to the rear of the site with some small trees and a picnic table and a lovely open aspect with some lovely views. (Some of this area may be given over to more pitches in the future according to the new owner. ) It's lovely to hear plenty of birdsong (especially a chiff-chaff) and also to see red kites from the site! There are also partridge a fox and rabbits to gaze at if you're up early enough!
The site is very handy for lots of attractions in the area, e. G. Stokesay Castle (from where there is a good walk), which is just down the road at Craven Arms; delightful market towns such as Church Stretton (handy for walking along Long Mynd), Ludlow (check out the fascinating architecture of St Peter's RC church) and Much Wenlock. Ironbridge and Shrewsbury are also easily accessible and both worth a visit.
I agree with a previous reviewer that the Tuffins Supermarket in Craven Arms is an amazing shop, stocking both food and lots of hardware too.
All in all, my wife and I spent a very pleasant week here and would recommend the site overall.
