Absolutely lovely site surrounded by trees to keep the wind from buffitting your van. Lovely views.
First class hosts. Going out there way to make your stay enjoyable.
Good clean showers and toilet block. Pot wash facility. Recommended.
Definitely we will revisit.

Great pre-arrival information and lots of great tips on places to go and things to see. Their Facebook page is really informative.
Nice welcome from Jane on arrival.
We were allocated a pitch and at that point the field slopes in two directions so although we are used to getting parked up on slopes it was tricky to manoeuvre and get the van level with just two ramps and especially on second night when a unit (tent, awning, windbreaks and car spread widthways) had set up next door and we were not left with much reversing room.
We ended up asking for a different pitch.
Plenty of loos and showers closeby to pitches. These are kept very clean and well supplied. Showers furthest from heater take a while to run warm.
Covered wash up area with four sinks.
Camper in the pitch next door was smoking cannabis in the evening and smoke drifting into our van - not a great experience but we felt awkward about saying anything.
The site was nice and quiet and skies are free of light pollution ( bring a torch - no site lights even on corners. )
Good location for touring the area from but not for walking from the site. The road outside is pretty busy.

Brilliant 3 days. Brian and Jane made us very welcome. We visited in 2017 and the site has improved so much the same. Very leisurely atmosphere. NO kids. Peace and quiet, away from all the bustle of town life.
Brilliant site. Adults only. Improved showers (constant (40*) hot water). More toilets. Very clean, Very tidy even the mower had a grass box (NO MESS). Some "more private" areas to pitch
Approx. 1. 5 miles from Craven Arms, supermarket, butchers, ironmongers, chippy. Quite a number of places of interest locally.
OK, means travelling out, you're on holiday! Definitely go back.

In short: very much enjoyed my stay at this site!
Greenway Campsite is on the. Greenway (road), not two miles north of Craven Arms on a relatively little used B-road. The site is a nice size: small, mostly flat, and in a sheltered position facing east, bordered by hedges and dotted with trees.
All in all, the setting is lovely, with plenty of light during the day, and at night, nice and dark with very little noise. Additionally, the tent pitches are situated furthest from the road and have been laid out very nicely (some pitches nestled between trees), which as a tent user is very much appreciated as oftentimes it seems spaces for tents are added as an afterthought (which certainly does not feel like the case here!)
The facilities are good - spacious showers, with excellent water flow and temperature control, which is ideal (especially in the cooler, darker months). The toilets and showers are all in their own individual 'rooms' which adds an extra bit of privacy. Plus, anyone concerned with spread of COVID-19 for example, in the regard of sharing facilities need not worry.
The owners are hard-working, friendly, and very helpful, which definitely enhanced the stay. No issues there whatsoever.
The close proximity to Craven Arms (but not on the main road) is very handy. The supermarket (Harry Tuffins) has everything you could ever need, the train station has a frequent and fast service to Ludlow and Shrewsbury (and free parking which makes it all the more useful), and there are two very good fish and chip shops (plus a number of other shops and services in the town). It is also in a good location to access walking routes which is always a plus in my book.
All in all, very satisfied, and would be happy to stay here again when I next find myself in the area.

Without doubt the nicest owners we have ever met.
Informative, welcoming, and best of all not greedy money grabbing like SO many others.
Have booked for next year with more family members as would definitely HIGHLY recommend. Jane and Brian go above and beyond.

We always do a lot of research online before picking a site, we look for adult only and peaceful sites, this fits the bill perfectly,
The site although full never felt overcrowded, generous pitch sizes, great facilities and really well kept,
Brian and Jane are really friendly and a font of local knowledge, we have never visited Shropshire before and they offered loads of useful advice for places to visit, things to do etc,
I see they have listened to previous feedback and now provide a freezer in the washing up area where you can keep your ice packs, which is a great addition,
Fantastic supermarket in Craven Arms for all your provisions and a great site to use as a base to explore the outstanding local area.

We were very impressed with this site, one of the nicest stays we have had.
There campsite is large and not too densely packed so it feels very spacious.
The owners work hard on keeping the grass mown regularly and cleaning the showers and toilets, which were fine for us.
They take pride in the site and are friendly and helpful.
Site Wi-fi is available.
