Spent a couple of nights in the dog friendly pod (which happens to be cat friendly too)! Found the new (lovely hot) shower & toilet facilities to be perfectly clean even after much heavy rain because all the other users were good enough to leave everything as they found it! The owners were very welcoming & I was offered anything and everything I might have forgotten (having camped for many years, was fully prepared) and were happy to answer any questions I had! Wish I could have stayed to watch the Red Kites swooping & soaring over the site for longer but the 3 at really close range were fantastic!
This is a proper camping & caravan site (with a few pods for softies like me) and I really believe that word of mouth will help continue success for the owners.

Really lovely views from this site and so rural yet convenient for visiting places. The owner is wonderful, so helpful & friendly. At the moment the only amenity is in the one cabin a loo & basin though the new amenities block will be Fab. Unfortunately it isn't finished yet & I would think won't be for a while. Once it's done, however this site will be perfect.
We would recommend a visit to Ludlow as it's a very interesting town & entry to the castle for £5 is a bargain. Worth it just for the views from the top. There are 2 chippys in nearby Craven Arms & other take aways. Also the Tuffins supermarket was very cheap but had everything & I mean everything in it.
We were in a tent on the back of the site & really enjoyed the peace but some friends were in one of the camping pods which were closer to the road & being the summer the motorbikes started at 7 am racing along it & this did disturb them. The road itself was quiet at night.
For us this was a great site to which we will return. It was good value for money & looked after & Sue is the perfect host. Only given it 9\10 because the amenity block not finished.

Just returned from a 3 night break at this site and felt I had to write a review.
The owner of the site, Sue, is very friendly and helpful.
If you want a quiet site with excellent scenery this is the one for you.
The site itself is a credit to the owners. It's well landscaped and almost flat and level. Just a very slight slope but nothing a few extra turns on the jockey wheel can't fix. It feels very spacious as there are at present only 6 hard standing spaces with hook-up. Beyond these pitches is a large open camping field.
The electricity is only 6 amp but we had no trouble as long as you don't overload it.
There is one unisex toilet with a basin. This was always immaculate and doubles as in information hut.
There is a shower block being completed that will include a veg. Prep. Area and pot washing facility.
Turn right out the site then immediately left down a narrow lane you come to The Apple Tree Pub that serves Ludlow Brewery ale and does nice food.
In Craven Arms there are more pubs and takeaways.
There is also a supermarket 'Tuffins' that sells everything.
I would highly recommend this site.
Could only give a 9 out of 10 for facilities as no showers yet but this seems unfair.

We stayed at Greenway for two nights during late August as an alternative to heading for the coast.
There’s no denying that it is a small and very basic adults-only site: just a handful of pitches and a tent field. However, it is friendly, well-tended, inexpensive and ideally located for exploring the South Shropshire countryside.
The 6-amp power supply didn’t cause us any problems (although whether this would be an issue in colder weather with a heater going full blast is another matter). There are freshwater taps dotted about, an elsan disposal point, and one outdoor toilet constructed from corrugated sheeting. That said, it must be one of the most fascinating loos I’ve ever visited, boasting a collection of books, magazines and tourist guides to browse whilst attending to ones ablutions – as well as laminated OS maps to borrow if you fancy trying out any of the local walks and cycle rides. Amazing!
Hard-standing pitches are adjacent to the main road (with space enough for awnings to be erected), with grass pitches available further up the field if preferred. Although the B4368 isn’t a busy road, vehicle noise is audible. However, night time traffic shouldn't disturb the sleep… unless perchance a heavy lorry or a motorbike hurtles past.
TV reception can be a bit hit-and-miss. Our normal caravan aerial failed to track any stations, but by strapping our other extension aerial onto an awning pole (taking it up to fifteen feet high!) we managed to pick up all the main channels. Only to lose them again the next night because the wind was up and the atmospherics were different! Meanwhile, the guy in the next caravan seemed to spent all weekend tinkering with his satellite dish trying to snatch glimpses of the Paralympics!
There are pubs, local shops and take-aways in nearby Cravens Arms, whilst the Tuffins supermarket sells most things a camper will need. And if they haven’t got it then the J-Mart hardware store across the road probably has.
All told, a delightful little site that is well worth considering for a holiday or a weekend break; or for an overnight stop if travelling the A49 from the north-west down to South Wales and the south-west (a quieter and more scenic alternative to the M5/M6 through Birmingham).

We have been a couple of times to this site and always had a lovely weekend. Very easy to find and once arrived we were allowed to choose pitch as it wasn't too busy.
The owners are very friendly and come around to say hello in the evening. The toilet is kept to a very clean standard with information on local walks and sights.
Lovely views of surrounding fields and the camping field is great for a dog to run around when it is quiet and we will definitely be back!
P. S. Only given one star for child friendliness as its an adult only site!

This is a very nice quiet little site with views. Also very easy access from the road which makes a nice change no narrow lanes to encounter
On arrival we was met by Sue the owner she was very friendly and showed us to our reserved pitch
She said we could site our caravan in any direction which was nice no fast rules.
The pitches were a good size but the hook ups are only 6amps a little low but we soon got use to it.
There is 1 unisex loo which is kept very clean with plenty of loo rolls and soap also local information is in there. ( so no need to take a book to read!)
We found the TV reception poor as we were only there for 2 nights we didn't bother.
But we recommended my sister and brother in law to this site they went in July and had a very enjoyable week and as they are both TV addicts Sue sorted them out with a satellite dish and cable they were happy.
The down side was being expected to lift up your heavy gray water waste container about 2ft and empty it down the same disposal point as your chemical loo
We would return to this site and recommend
It's very difficult to rate this park as it's only a CL

We stopped at this site for 3 nights on our way to North Wales. The site is set in a well landscaped and maintained parklike setting. There was a nice exercise area for dogs to one side away from the pitch area.
Basic but clean toilet and basin with plenty of toilet roll and hand towels. Could do with washing up facilities for campers. This site is excellent value for money at £10 with electric hookup and very pleasant and private and Sue and Steve keep a low profile but are very conscientious hosts who have put a lot of thought and effort into the site.
We found plenty of places of interest including the Long Mynd with the hairy drive up to it and Wenlock Edge. Had nice time at Clun a short drive away. We have visited many sites where you pay at least £5 to £7 more per night just because there are showers and more toilets, personally we would rather visit a site like this as we have a shower in the caravan and keep the cost down.
We would recommend to others and would return if in this area in the future.

We had a fabulous weekend here site was clean and quite, slightly sloping field but not a problem, Sue the owner was very nice, She was in no rush to be paid, facilities are basic but spotless only one toilet and a wash basin but between five units was ample. About 1 mile from Craven Arm where we had nice Indian takeaway. Site is a good base to explore local area. We will be back.

This was our maiden voyage in our new (15 year old) caravan. We were newbies to caravanning and this site was a lovely introduction to caravaning.
It is is very attractive with lovely views and quiet 5 pitches. Sue, the owner was very helpful and friendly.
The toilet was spotlessly clean and there was lots of useful information on places to visit. Shropshire is an undiscovered gem and we did some wonderful walks, saw wild roe deer and lots of bluebells. Cars and motorbikes tend to speed along the road but it did not disturb our sleep. You can pitch on hardstanding or go in the field and still hook up. (Pitching in the field is further away from the road).
There aren't many great pubs round and about (either closed or a bit seedy) however a lady in the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms recommended 'Baron of Beef' in Bucknall (8 miles away). We had excellent meal there which was reasonably priced.
Sue advised they are hoping to build a shower block. I know this is the first site I have been to but would recommend it for lovely views, peace and quiet and friendly owner!

Stayed 4 nights over the Easter weekend, found the owner's Sue & Steve most helpful and friendly. The site was very well kept in picturesque surroundings with plenty to do. The huge field was wonderful for our dogs, they were able to have plenty of runs. A little close to the road, with some traffic noise, but didn't bother us too much, it was Bank Holiday after all.
The local area had lots to offer with the town of Craven Arms just 2 miles away. It has everything you could want there from a very large supermarket, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The Secret Hills Discovery Centre was a brilliant starting point for lots of mapped walks with hills, dales and riverside walks to name but a few.
Enjoyed our stay so much, booked in again for this weekend.
