We stayed at this attractive site for nine nights and would visit again. Many units on terraces but we had 2 spacious, grassed pitches that backed onto a large field at the rear of the site.Although sited next to a very clean toilet block we were not disturbed by the comings and goings of people using the facilities. In actual fact we felt quite private due to the fact that we had no one behind us.Baby changing/bath room was very useful.Showers spotless.
The staff were very helpful, courteous and spoke excellent English. The shop was small and didn't sell much other than the basics.Queues form in the morning for bread and croissants, (best go after 10 am to avoid them!),which can be ordered at reception the day before.
The restaurant on site is good, we ate outside on the terrace overlooking the pool and, beyond that, the lake.Lovely view. There is a small indoor pool adjacent to the outside one, suitable for small children. You can also swim/paddle in the lake, which has a grassy area alongside for sunbathing, picnicking etc. There was a lifeguard on duty when we were there. Within 10 minutes walk of the site there is a restaurant by the lake side. Quickest route is by steep steps from the site down to a road skirting the site, then more steps to the lakeside below. We did manage to carry a pushchair down them. This road can also be directly accessed from the site entrance but takes a little longer. If you carry along the road, about half mile past the rear of the restaurant, there is an excellent auberge tucked in a bend on the roadside.
Mediaeval Langres is nearby, about 15 mins drive, and well worth a visit. Very quaint and with lots of history. We rode on the 'little train' which leaves every hour from the tourist office and takes you along the city walls and through some of the town. Headphones are provided with an English commentary on the town's history. Only 5 euros p.P. This makes a great afternoon out!
Supermarket about 10 mins drive from site on the way to Langres. Local area quiet, canal nearby for pleasant walk along the bank.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site for either an overnight or long stay.

Stayed here just one night using camping cheques. The view from our pitch was fantastic, overlooking the lake. The toilets and shower area was clean, reception very helpful. The pitch was fully serviced but we had a slight problem, the aquaroll adaptor wouldn't fit their tap.

This was a good big site with an excellent pool. Near the lovely old town with excellent tourist info in English! We found the site busy and pitches quite small and muddy. Pitches were terraced which always seems to give the illusion of less space somehow! Facilities were very clean but showers some of the smallest I have encountered and I'm not that big! Pitches with views of the lake taken by permanent units. Lake great and good for cycling round. Also canal very close for good cycling.

We intended staying here overnight En Route but ended up spending a week there. This must be one of the nicest sites we've used in France. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. The restaurant offered good quality and was fair value. The site made efforts to provide entertainment for those who wanted it , and although not necessarily what we liked I appreciated their efforts. We will certainly be going back to this site.l

Find Site:- Leave autoroute at either Langres Nord or Sud. From the south take N19 signed for Versoul and watch out for signs to Lac de la Liez. The campsite is signed from the main road. From the north in Langres, just follow signs to Lac de la Liez which takes you via Peigney. The entrance is just over the brow of a hill as you see the lake so be careful! This campsite, which accepts Camping Cheques, is a more peaceful alternative to the Municipal in Langres. In fact from this site you can see the walled town of Langres. The pitches are in the main laid out on a terraced basis, although at the far end of the site the pitches take on a more usual look. Pitch size varies and for a longer stay you might want to be more selective. It had been very wet before we arrived and during our short visit and some pitches were a bit muddy. Having said that there are pitches with a gravel surface which stand up better to the conditions. There are two new toilet blocks which are to a high standard. Each pitch has access to electrics, water and waste water. There is ample parking at the entrance to the site and one imagines that one could use this as a late arrivals area although I would suggest you confirm this with the site! The reception area also includes a small shop, takeaway, restaurant, terrace and indoor swimming pool. A new outdoor swimming pool was under construction. The campsite also offers a number of chalets for hire.We used this campsite for an overnight stay on our way South. It would make a perfect spot for a longer stay with walks around the lake and visits to the lovely walled town of Langres.

Spent a relaxing 2 weeks staying in site's own static 'Country Cottage' - Sunelia Elite 3 Seasons 35' x 12' - 32m2 - which we booked via Alan Rogers.
Further details for this site can also be found on Sunelia's own website.
Run by the Baude family, site was revamped in 2004, from 2 to 4 star and consists of some 10 acres of terraces cut into slope down to lake - all pitches south facing - and most with attractive lake views over the 900 acre lake - largest of four in the area - all originally feeders for the nearby Marne-Saone canal.
Good takeaway, on-site restaurant and fairly basic shop. Lidl, Champion and Intermarche supermarkets all within 10 mins (Langres).
Games room for children (video games, pinball, etc.) and 2 separate outdoor play areas. Public internet access terminal via scratchcards - approx €1 per 6 mins.
Can't comment on washrooms, etc - as had own facilities in static.
New - though small (30' x 15') - outdoor and indoor pools, and bar terrace looking over lake. No waterchute in evidence - as advertised on website - which was initially a disappointment to our kids.
Staff spoke excellent English, despite being somewhat off main tourist routes - noticeably more Dutch and French on site than Brits.
There is a road between the site and lake, but little real traffic, as serves local holiday lakesite chalets only.
Within 10kms of the A31 - so ideal as a stopover for those driving to South. Many on site appeared to be staying for few nights only.
166 pitches, mostly tourers although 1/3rd of site nearest lake is faux-log cabins (c.30) and statics (5).
Site is about 150' above lakeshore, and close to a small harbour, sailing school and lakeside restaurant - featuring good fish dishes.
Access to a small lakeside beach by means of a keypad locked gate - 5 mins walk down stairs - might be a bit steep for the very young.
Roped-off swimming area and windsurfing, pedalos, canoes, bikes available for hire at lake.
5km from Langres - an interesting and ancient fortified town, with artifacts dating back to pre-Roman times.
Probably not enough to occupy teens for too long, but great for 'away from it all', cycling or fishing holiday - lake is known for its perch and pike - surrounded by rolling limestone and chalk uplands.
Summary: Clean site in good location and lakeside views. Some of the touring pitches looked a little on the small side. Not 'exciting' in terms of facilities, but if you don't need a waterpark or nightlife and like lakes / cycling / fishing / reading by the pool in a scenic location with friendly locals - then could be just what you're looking for.
