Beautiful campsite in stunning location with amazing views.
Out pitch was on a slope which made things a little awkward and could do with more showers and washing up facilities based on the numbers of guests.
But site very clean and well maintained.

Great views of sea and mountains. Walks from campsite particularly worth walking up to see Druid stone circle which is a steep climb.
Easy walk to village albeit there isn't much there but can pick up arriva buses with 1 day travel passes for whole of Wales for £5. 70. We went to Conwy and Llandudno. Take care though if you get the no 75 bus from the cemetery as not many buses back and one day travel pass is not valid on arriva bus back.
Didn't rate facilities as not open and child friendliness not applicable
Some distant noise from road below

We stayed at this lovely site for over for a week we found the facilities to be 2nd to none espy the cleanliness was brilliant during the code is 19 crisis there was hand gel
Provided in several areas. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and very efficient at keeping a lovely campsite.
This campsite is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia area and beyond with dog walks on the site and easily accessible from the site.
We will definitely be back thank you everyone who runs the site.

Wonderfully quiet site, facilities were really clean, spotless actually. Couldn’t fault the actual campsite. Good value and would recommend.
Can’t say the same for castle Taxis who refused to come and collect us for a fare back to camp after a lovely meal at the Fairy Glen.

Absolutely loved this place, so much so we have already booked to go again this year.
We have a large tent with EHU, 2 adults & 2 young kids (3 & 5) and they loved it to.
Even during testing covid times with quite heavy restrictions it was perfect. The views are fab, the patrons are nice and friendly & the facilities we could access (even though mostly restricted) were nice and clean & looked well care for.
Highly recommend to families that are looking to get away from the day to day normality as the surrounding areas are beautiful. This place really is ideally situated.

Site was immaculate. Staff very friendly and hard working.
Toilet block and showers well maintained and modern.
Lovely views. Perfect location for walks. Some of which are challenging.
The only downside is the local shops / pubs / restaurants are not close enough same goes for a good beach

Great site - as others have said, the views and the facilities are fantastic. The pot wash is one of the best I've seen - clean and modern, with a coffee machine and charging stations.
(Small issue: the womens toilets are a little cramped - plenty of stalls and sinks but not much room to move around. The family washrooms in the huts are more generous. )
The site is neat and well maintained, but remains relaxed. It is fairly steeply sloped in parts though so if you're picky about that, you'll need to pick your pitch carefully or use chocks.
The location is great for exploring the coast but with the downside that you can hear the A55 quite loudly at all times. This wasn't a huge problem for us - it's far enough away that it's mostly white noise - but something to note if you want a very peaceful getaway.
There is an enclosed dog exercise field at the top of the site - longer grass to run through and the smell of (I'm assuming) rabbits delighted our dog :)

Stayed on lots of campsites over the years but this place deserves a 10 out of 10 review.
Amazing views, cleanest toilets/showers I've seen on a site, lovely staff and lots of small things thought of to make life easy for a camper. (phone chargers, fridges, microwave, kettle and even a coffee machine!)
This place will become a regular for us I'm sure, love to find new walks and the view from the top of the hill behind the site was amazing, our choccy lab loved it too.
See you again soon

With the sea one side and mountains the other this site has stunning views.
We had a hard standing pitch in the top field which was fairly level however a bit of a walk is required from this field down to the toilet block, with a steep walk back so not really suitable for anyone physically disabled.
Likewise is the nearest pub the Gladstone which again is physically demanding on the return leg. T
he site itself is very quiet and peaceful at night and quite cheap at £20/night, the toilets very clean though shower cubicles a touch on the small side.
A regular bus service to either Bangor or Conway can be caught from either Penmaenmawr or near the Gladstone pub but again there is that steep walk back.

One of the nicest sites we have been on. The family washrooms are immaculate, the shower is great, turn it on and that’s it no pushing the button to keep up the water flow.
Spectacular views with mountains behind and the sea in front of you to watch the sun setting at night.
Definitely going again!
Price wise it is well worth the money. Looked at other sites that were pricier before booking here.
Good location with Conwy, Bangor and the whole of Snowdonia in easy reach.
