My Husband and I just got back from a from a long weekend at New Farm. The caravan site holds around 25 pitches so its a lovely size, it's about 5 years old apparently it was an diary farm which has been diversified, its in the heart of cheshire, it's 5 mins away from Tarporley and 15 min from Nantwich and 20 min to Chester.
The site was very well maintained, clean shower and toilet block and superb fishing lakes(which my husband loved he caught some good sized fish - Carp, Tench and Barble).
There are 50 acres of land and four lakes which were nice to walk around but we also went off the site and found other walks and also had a walk to the local pub -The Boot and Slipper where we had a fantastic meal all home-made, it was an old traditional pub a mile down the road but a lovely walk.
The owner Mark was very helpful and friendly too, we only paid £19 a night which was brilliant, would definitely recommend to anyone oh its adults too.

Really lovely site. I would highly recommend it. Very clean, very pleasing to the eye, well kept.
Peace and quiet amongst lovely countryside. A good base for Chester, Manchester. Surrounding villages are lovely, quaint and 'proper' English villages.
Good dog walks. Fairly secure, as there is a controlled barrier. Not too far from the main road, but far enough so as not to be disturbed by traffic noise.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant for our weeks stay but even with high winds and pounding rain we had a great TV signal, so were able to keep up to date with weather reports.
We would definitely continue to use this site.

We had the pleasure of staying at New Farm for several weeks in the summer of 2010. It's such a nice site in a really nice area with more than adequate facilities for the size of the site. It's really well maintained and probably has the friendliest and most helpful site owner we've ever come across. We thoroughly recommend this fantastic site and will be back in 2011.

Great little site.
Been here a few times and always been well accommodated, even for a family weekend with 5 vans and 30+ relatives some visiting for the day.
The park and facilities have always been well maintained.
Owners always friendly.
Being on the Cheshire plains it can get a bit breezy but that's nature for you.
Will be back.

Great site. Fishing is good bordering on great (caught loads of small commons and mirror) one Large rush of a 'Big un'.
Quiet as said in previous posts
Great for me, 14yr old was a bit doubtful about going to toilet with a '16yrs or under needs supervision to use facilities' sign
All in all brilliant up to now, I do have another 4 days to go though!

New Farm is a great caravan site for couples and fishermen; but I would not really recommend it to families as there are no play facilities.
The site is fairly well laid out but the pitches are a little short for larger units. As the pitches are on an angle it can be difficult to manouevre your caravan into the space without taking out the opposite pitches occupant. If you have an awning it will fit on the pitch but that leaves nowhere to park and the owner prefers you to park in the car park. Also not all the pitches are level so levelling blocks are required on a couple. Each pitch provides electricity with a shared water supply.
New Farm is situated in the lovely open Cheshire countryside so it can be a bit windy. The toilet block is quite new but I am not sure it is adequate for a full site. There is one shower in the mens and one in the ladies. I think there may be a further shower in the block.
This is a lovely quiet caravan site which in the main seems to attract fishermen as there are a number of well-stocked lakes in the grounds. Allowing the fisherman to fish all day. The owner is usually on hand to offer advice or have a friendly conversation.
Definitely somewhere that you want to include your dog. There is a large field adjacent to the caravan site where you can let Rover go and dogs love it!
Nantwich is a lovely town to visit and there is also a Sainsburys supermarket en route. There are a number of pubs close by offering reasonably priced meals. The Boot and Slipper at Wettenhall provides excellent meals, but it is as well to book in advance. The cheaper end of the market is The Tollemache on the A51 which offers reasonabily priced meals served with Robinson's Ales (if you are a fan). Also the Barbridge Inn at Barbridge is worth a visit.
If you are looking for a relaxing weekend to unwind then I would recommend New Farm.

What can I say the site goes from strength to strength. We have been a few times now ( 2 adults & 2 teenage kids ), it good to see that things are maturing nicely. Pitches manicured to perfection. Water and drainage for every two pitches. Fishing was excellent for all ages, but must try harder at catching something next time. Wash block tidy as ever, nothing out of place.
Mark the owner is always very pleasant and helpful!
Will be returning again soon

Very peaceful site. My son loved the fishing 3 pools Carp pool, he caught loads 8-12 lbs toilets facilities 1st class you will not be disappointed.
This is a place you can chill out we were very lucky with the weather and decided to stay an extra night.
And family want to go back again as wife was really relaxed and no more than 50 metres from the furthest pool.

Spent a long weekend at this site after finding it on ukcampsite.Co.Uk and found it to be a lovely little site. The site is a level site with gravel hardstanding pitches with a tap and drain point behind each pitch. It also has a B&B on site and a couple of fishing lakes.
The toilet block was very clean and tidy and the shower was lovely. The price was also reasonable at £16 a night in February. It was situated about 2 miles down a country lane away from the A51 so it was quite peaceful at night with the odd car passing down the country lane.
I can only fault this site on one point and that was that we had some visitors that visited for a couple of hours on the Saturday and the warden came to us and said that it would be £3 per person (2 Adults and 2 babys) but in the end he only charged them £4 in total.
Woke up on the Sunday to a snowy site to go home on. Nice site would visit again.

My husband and I have enjoyed several mid week visits to this site during the year - it is lovely to go mid week when it is especially peaceful. We enjoy walking around the fishing lakes and also the gardens. Chester, Nantwich and Tarporley are all within easy reach and make a good day out. We found many good places to eat locally. The site is well run and clean and the shower and toilet block is always clean and well maintained. The owner is friendly and we shall continue to use the site throughout the winter and 2010 we hope.
