Pitched here for 5 days. New site, quite small at the moment. Pitches mostly hard standings which are of a good size. Each has Water, Waste Water, and 16 amp EHU.
Toilet Block spotlessly clean at all times. Excellent shower / washing facilities with constant hot water. There is only 1 male and 1 female shower but only 3 occupied vans (including ours) were pitched ,.So no queuing.
Site itself well laid out, clean, attractive and well maintained. Ideally situated for sightseeing, shopping, etc etc.
Mark the owner always on hand to assist, give advice / local information or just have a cheerful chat.
VERY Quiet and relaxing.Even Strong Winds, Driving Rain, and minus 6 degree temperatures didn't spoil our chill out.
This sites popularity can only grow.More showers/loos will be needed but we believe that Mark is already planning for them.
We can recommend this site. Thanks Mark see you again.

I held a Mazda Bongo campervan meet at this site on the weekend of 21st September 07. Mark the campsite owner could not have been more helpful with help for organising the meet prior to attending , nothing was to much trouble. The site itself is excellent with hardstanding & grass pitches availible. The toilets are pristeen and Mark is always around when you need him. There is plenty of space for kids & dogs to run about and the camp , even though full never felt crowded at all . The site shop has all the basic supplies needed. Two good local pubs serving food nearby and I can reccomend the Davenport Arms which has great food and a beer garden. The Cheshire Ice cream farm is not far and free to attend and is fun for kids & Adults. The security on site is good as you need a fob to activate a barrier .This is a great site for a Rally and all attending my meet wish to come back next year ! Next year they will all be bringing the fishing rods ready for when the lakes are stocked .A great site .First class .

Stayed here over the August bank holiday period. The site was full. We were greeted by a cheerful owner Mark (which is rare nowadays) The hard standing pitches are among some of the largest we have stayed on with electric, water and drainage. Take a 5 metre length of drainage hose. Even with a full site there was plenty of room for awnings, windbreaks and parking the car. The toilets were kept clean throughout out stay and the site has a friendly family atmosphere. There is no children's play ground which we were a little apprehensive about at first but no worries there is plenty of room to play traditional family games and kite flying and all our 5 children from 8mths to 14 years had a great time. It made a pleasant change from the usual, feeding the kids with £1 coins for arcade machines. The site is ideally located for Oulton Park. The site has an open aspect and has some wonderful views and sunsets. The chippy is approx 10 minute drive and local pub approx 5 minutes. Both serving good food. Daytime and Nighttime was relaxed and quiet on site so if you belong to the yee-ha brigade with your loud music and shouting DON'T COME HERE. Well done Mark you have set the seed of an excellent family site. We will be visiting again.

This is a great new campsite and we stayed for the weekend in a tent with electric hook up. The toilets/showers are wonderful and clean 10/10. Mark the owner is a very helpful an friendly bloke. There is loads of space for the kids to explore but no play area and it has ponds for a spot of fishing. It has a small shop for your essentials and there are a couple of lovely pubs nearby with children's play area's. The only down side is you can't park your car next to your tent you have to leave it in the car park by the camping field. There are washing up facilities but no hot water and it's not covered. I am sure this site can only improve and has very reasonable prices.

Stayed here August 07. Nice site, clean pleasant. Helpful owners. Shop not packed with goodies but steady enough with the basics. Showers and water very warm and free, which was excellent. Electric hook up available and in all it cost us £12 per night. My only gripes about the site would be that there is only 1 male and 1 female shower. Luckily when we stayed it was fairly quiet, so not a problem, but I imagine it may have been when busy. Also the local road wad quite noisy at times with heavy tractors trundling through at 11 pm. The camp site was very basic (ie no playgrounds) but it does promise to have a stocked fishery next year (08) which would be fantastic if you were into fishing. Not much locally within walking distance, but a few decent places to visit if you dont mind travelling by car. I would stay again as a convenient stop over on the way to somewhere, but probably wouldnt use it for a holiday unless I were a fisherman

We had a pleasant 2 night stay on this lovely, new campsite. The toilet/shower block was immaculate. One shower & two toilets each - they were never crowded and we didn't have to wait for a shower. The little on site shop was handy, selling essentials such as bread & disposable BBQs. The owner was very friendly and always available to assist, such as when we got lost on our way. Most of our fellow campers were also very friendly apart from one rowdy group who kept us all awake until the early hours - as soon as the owner was made aware of this he stepped in and kicked them off. It is clear that the owner is keen to promote a quiet and peaceful site. The site is well situated for exploring the surrounding area. There are also a few pubs within a short drive/longish walk, although we didn't visit them. All in all, a very relaxing weekend - we will return soon.

Stayed here over the weekend, really nice smart site and lovely owners. All pitches are hard standing and all have a water and electric supply. There is only one shower for men and one for women but they are very powerful when they are finally free. Toilets and showers are very clean and spacious and they are free, although one night I had to have a cold shower as there was no hot water left. The site would benefit from having more than one shower for each gender. It was £16 a night which included everything, awning, electric, pets etc. Very secure site, with a fob entry system which you have to give a refundable £10 deposit for when you check in. They was a marina about 5 minutes away and some lovely pubs and places to eat a few miles away. It is half an hour away from Chester Zoo, had a great day out there and the weather was lovely. We would definitely go back but watch out for the gnats! Had to have all doors and windows shut from about 9pm onwards or the caravan was covered in them.

Have just visited this site while everywhere is getting flooded, even with torrential rain site was easy to access. Easy to find with signs from main road although we almost missed the entrance due to lack of larger sign there. Lovely laid out hardstandings with amenities. Toilet and shower block all new. Owner and his Mum very helpful (recommending good pub for sunday lunch.) Nantwich is only 5/6 miles away and Tarporley 3 miles. Shop on site has few essentials (cereal, sugar etc) but sparsley stocked, perhaps as it gets busier they may stock more Plenty of places to visit within an hours drive, but weather was against us, but we still enjoyed the site. This is a new site (opened May we were told) and can only get better when it matures. We will definitely return

This site is 6 weeks old The toilets are spotless and so are the showers plenty of hot water and cleaned regularly. The shop has a small selection of items and again very clean The owner Mark is always around the site and easy to contact a fob system for you to come and go which you leave a deposit for on arrival which is then refundable on departure. The sink for cleaning plates and pots and pans is outside with no cover over it and the water is only cold The owner Mark tries to ensure quietness early in the morning for those of us who like a lie in. This site has a cinder path which is ideal when raining it has three new ponds which in time i,m sure will be a draw to campers the site is in a quiet location of main road. This site is ideal for a quiet weekend or week i,m sure this site will go from strengh to strengh. And for effort we give 10 out of ten it can only get better we are pleased to recommend and we will return again thanks

A new site, nice clean toilet/shower block, given time the soft landscaping will fill out and look a lot better. The owner is very friendly and full of local knowledge.
There are a few pubs within a short drive or medium walk. A ten minute drive gets you to Delemere Forest, a Forestry commision site with lovely walks. There is the Shropshire canal nearby for nice walks, Beeston castle is worth a visit, also Oulton park race circuit is 15 mins away.
The site is about 2 miles from the main road and there are no nearby buildings except the farm its on so noise in minimal. Myself, my wife and our 6 year old black labrador enjoyed our stay and would happily go back.
All pitches have hook up and a tap, loved the price as well, caravan, awning, dog and hook up £16.
