This is the second time my girlfriend and I have been to this site.
This is a really nice little site.
The owners are really nice and friendly, I've noticed people stating in reviews that there's too many do's and don'ts notices but I didn't feel this, I'm sure you have to put up a lot of notices like that when you take into account how stupid the majority of people are ha ha.
The site is adults only which is a blessing as it makes it really quiet.
The owners don't allow a lot of campers which means you have lots of space and no one camping too close to you.
I just hope that there will be enough space for us to keep returning as I would like to visit this campsite a lot in the future.
The camping field is set to the side of the camper van area and is basically a very well kept short grass field with a couple of apple trees, there is an orchard adjoining it.
I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the noise of road and air traffic, the road noise is a light hum and although there are lots of planes it didn't bother us and we had no trouble sleeping.
The toilet/shower block is brilliant, it's spotless and the showers are free, very hot and spacious and because it's a small site it's never overcrowded.
There is a sink area also to do the washing up.
There are lovely walks nearby, a twenty minute walk to the pub, which I haven't to but if you go in the other direction there is a footpath which leads through lovely woodland and we walked for hours.
On the walks you see lots of rabbits, I saw a fox chasing rabbits through a field, (nice to see a fox out in the fields and not rummaging around bins in the city for once) There's even a chance you might see deer.
As I said the owners are nice and the man even had a bet with my girlfriend about how long it would take us to get there (which he only just lost ha).
I would recommend this site to campers who like peace and quiet (not the sort of place to go in groups and play music and be loud thank god).
Hope to return soon.
Also it's good for visiting Tonbridge Wells and they also have car boot sales in the nearby field if that's your thing.
Beautiful sunrises too, got some lovely pictures.
Cheers.
P.S. A little suggestion, it would be nice to have a little fridge to use in the sink area. Not a big deal though.

Charming site. Have stayed twice this summer already. Lovely well kept tent field surrounded by orchards on two sides. Onle a few tents allowed so feels spacious and peaceful. Love the 'No Children' rule, as it makes mornings and evenings lovely and peaceful.
Toilet block is very well looked after, nicely decorated and sufficient for the number of units allowed. There is a covered washing up area and a book swap shelf.
We like the location as it is easily reachable from London after work, and near the delightful Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Waitrose and Sainsburys supermarkets nearby in Tonbridge.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for more summer weekends.

The campsite was perfect. Spotlessly clean facilities. (Even if a little lacking in privacy - the shower room has just a curtain separating it from the rest of the ladies.) Adults only so There were No children playing games near your tent. Lovely setting - trees all around. Good value. Very friendly owners who gave us a warm welcome.
However, if you are looking for a peaceful setting this is not it. There is a constant hum of traffic (although this didn't bother us) - all night you hear quite low aeroplanes going over constantly which kept me and my husband awake for most of the night.
Also, much to my horror, the owner decided to use the electric hedge cutters at 8.45am which didn't help after a bad night's sleep.
The pub which is advertised on the website is correctly only about 20 mins away. Half of the walk is down a country lane - lovely. But then the rest is along a very busy main road
Once at the pub, it was next door to a travel inn and the garden (although looking nice) was again, right next to the main road so once again we found ourselves talking over the traffic noise.
It is such a pain as the site itself is lovely.

Nice adult only site with friendly owners, Small toilet/washing facility block, but adequate for 10 pitches - there are signs about lights off, taps off, etc. But unfortunately the few spoil it for the many as always, making these signs necessary.
Very good location, with bus stops for Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells a short walk from the camp site entrance.

We were made very welcome by the owners of the campsite and every help was given to us to make our holiday special.
We loved the quiet location amidst apple and plum trees and there was no restrictions on where we put our tent. Owls hooted during the early evening as we watched the sun go down and geese flew over us each morning on their way to the various lakes and reservoirs in the area.
The site was easy to find although our Sat Nav took us initially to a private estate nearby. Fortunately, a camping sign on a lamp post pointed the way to the site.
We shall definitely be back in the Spring to see the apple blossom.

I managed to arrive by the cut off of 7pm and was told I was cutting it fine. I think 7pm is quite early. I work in London and left work at 5.30 and then had to get home and get the car etc. Didn't really like being made to feel I was sort of being told off.
Lots of empty field to pitch in and facilities nice and clean. However, the road noise was not as relaxing as I would like, and also felt like we were directly on the flight path - noisy.
Nice enough site but wanted to hear birds and wildlife rather than civilisation.

We had a lovely week here, very helpful, friendly people. Road noise was not a problem. Lovely site, very spacious and well looked after and although the facilities may not be ultra-modern, they were always spotlessly clean. Very easy access and convenient for both Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. Good for walking the dog. Very reasonable prices too. Will certainly visit again.

A very nice, well kept site with a friendly welcome. Reasonable price Plenty of very hot water in clean toilet block. Hard standings were virtually level with handy pieces of wood for levelling.
Good views across the Weald and shelter near the apple trees. Picnic tables provided. Look forward to returning.

The site is immaculately presented in a well mown apple orchard (which was in bloom during our visit). There are notices to keep off the grass but is intended to stop the heavy wheels of cars and caravans from churning the soft grass. Awnings and use of the grass is no problem.
The shower block is wooden, being an ex sports pavilion, but presented in a wonderful clean fashion. The water in the showers is hot and plentiful.
Because the site is only designed for 10 units, the shower / toilet / washing up facilities are adequate.
Depending upon wind direction, road noise varies from a faint hum to an audible whisper.
It is a quiet site and is free from light pollution, ideal for star gazers - all others remember to take a torch.
The positioning of the site means that there are 6 National Trust properties within a 8 mile radius and Hever Castle, Chartwell and loads of other cultural goodies.
The nearest supermarket (Sainsbury) is a 5 minute drive, as is the centre of Tonbridge.
It is a brilliant site and we will certainly be returning in the near future, if there is a vacancy.

Site looks tidy and the owners appear to be making an effort to make things nice and were very helpful. Toilets in a wooden construction adequate, showers could have been better. Hardstandings of various shapes and sizes, unfortunately blocks sunk into the hardstanding and there was no alternative but to park the car directly in front of the van window. Entrance and exit to site through barrier locked by a number coded padlock and owners insist this is kept locked shut at all times which is a pain. There are a multitude of 'keep off the grass' signs, I counted 13 just looking out of one window! Also sarcastic notices in the toilets about nicking toilet rolls. Left me wondering if they wanted my business or not.
The problem here is the road noise - a constant drone all day and night. Also lots of aircraft noise.
