 What a lovely small site with extremely pleasant and helpful owners. The site is adult only which made for a very quiet relaxing stay; in our case for 6 days. The access to the site is very easy and within a few hundred yards of the A21/A26 junction.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with views from all pitches. This included panoramic views across the north Downs and close ups of wandering hot air balloons - magnificent. The large pitches were slightly sloping but there were even wooden boards provided to assist with levelling.
There is a large area for dog walking which included fields also used for car boot sales at other times of the year. There were also picnic tables on most pitches. The 10 amp hook up on all 10 pitches was more than adequate for our caravan and accessories.
The toilet and shower block was spotless and whilst there was only one shower per gender, there was never any waiting time. Some heating would have been an advantage but the water was very hot. The same for the washing up sink. There was only one and the very hot water could have run quicker but it did not detract from the overall pleasure of the site.
The site is very close to Tonbridge and near Tunbridge Wells so lots to do and see. There is a pub in walking distance down a private road and both towns are only a short drive away. So too are other pleasures which include National Trust properties, forests, Leeds Castle, market towns and more. We will definitely return.
