This has got to be one of the best sites we have visited. If you want a peaceful relaxing holiday this is a site is a must. Very quiet, friendly and immaculately kept site with very large pitches. I have never been to a site where there was fresh cut flowers in the toilets
Excellent walks around the fishing lakes with a large variety of wildlife. Within easy access to shops and pubs. I cant wait to go back soon.

If your looking for spotlessly clean, peaceful, relaxing, friendly, helpful, then this is the site, stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 small dogs
The site was bliss itself, the toilets are locked but everyone has their own key! Pitches are extremely spacious. Enjoyed the walks round the village, enjoyed the pint at the pub even more :-),
Owners / wardens couldn't be more friendly, it was like visiting family, very welcoming site, we have already booked for this weekend and May bank holiday!

Beautiful quiet rural site set in open countryside but within walking distance of the attractive Crakehall village which offers a pub, garage and shop. The site has excellent new very well maintained facilities with helpful friendly owners and site warden. There are lovely walks around the 2 fishing lakes and it is ideally situated for the Yorkshire dales, east coast and many more attractions on offer in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can't wait for my next visit to this lovely site!

Wonderful quiet site (no children allowed) but a second site is planned for families on other side of farmhouse in the near future. Site is very clean, both wardens and owners were most helpful, new toilet and shower block kept immaculate, only downside here is they are locked about 11pm and opened again about 6am. But we found it wasn't a real problem.
Pitches are large and separated by rope fencing, good views and a really nice walk round the fishing lakes that are part of the site. We went back again in August 2009 we liked it that much. Village is within walking distance with a pub shop and garage, cricket played on the green in summer just in front of pub. If you go, enjoy!
