The owner was very pleasant and I received a warm welcome. Quiet site over Easter, exactly what I wanted. The toilets & showers were clean, showers 20p for about 4 minutes, though some were temperamental but I can’t complain, for me, car and a small frame tent, it was only £5 per night. The site is grassed with terraces & country views. Marborough is only a few miles away for some small shops or Kingsbridge large facilities.
Close to coastal path which offers wonderful views, a nice walk along from Soar Mill Cove to Salcombe, also in the other direction towards Plymouth if your energetic (refer to the SW Coastal Path for info) several rivers to negotiate!

Excellent site for caravans or tents but access via very narrow winding Devon lanes which was slightly hair-raising towing a caravan but we didn't meet anyone! The site was worth it though, it's very quiet and friendly and in a lovely location near the coast. Smallish but spacious with plenty of space between each pitch. Clean modern toilet block, free showers, large wash-up area,games room, indoor play room for smaller children, dogs allowed on leads and plenty of good dog walking on paths leading from the site. Shop was not open when we were there (only July & August I believe) but nearest Co-op only a few miles away.
