This was by far, the best campsite we've ever stayed at.
Not only were the facilities outstanding, meeting the needs of even the most basic of campers, whatever the weather. The scenery was breathtaking and tranquil.
But the stars of it all were the owners, Angus and Joan, with the value system and principles of a bygone era, always creating a welcoming and attentive atmosphere.
Nothing was too much trouble and we could have stayed here for ever and made this our new way of life.
Thank you Angus and Joan.

Lovely site. Great location. Good facilities.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
Only slight downside is that it's very sloping.
Would use again and definitely recommend.

An absolute gem of a campsite, ideal base location,
Spotlessly clean,
Very short walk to pristine beaches.
Angus and Jeremy can't do enough to accommodate their visitors,
We'll be back.

Excellent campsite, on a slope so go prepared, but well worth it.
Good value for the money. Lovely outlook to Eriskay and South Uist.
Facilities are good, and also cater well for tents.
Just a short walk to the beach from site.
Angus John as helpful as always and very laid back to the point of almost falling over.

Couldn’t speak more highly both of the facilities and of Angus and his assistants who run it and create such a friendly, personal atmosphere. Kitchen was a life saver for me, on foot with a tiny tent - I could cook and hide from the midges in the wee sitting area, and charge my phone. Very cheap for what it is.
The setting is nothing less than stunning. You look on to a quiet bay, with white sand and turquoise, calm water, but on the other side of the hill behind the campsite (which affects stunning views - it’s a 15-20 min cllimb) - within 15 mins walk - is a rugged rocky coastline with the full force of the Atlantic, next stop N America! Take your pick.
The walking is excellent and the island is great - with a great bus service Monday - Saturday. Plan well because e buses are cheap but the taxi anything but! Not a problem for those with motor homes of course, who are also made very welcome on the site.
Wonderful place, great people!
Thank you 🙏🏻

Fantastic site with access to a beautiful beach
Angus the owner has lots of useful local knowledge and it’s also close to Barra Airport for watching the plane land on the beach
