Beware if you are in a tent and do not request an electrical hook up. The top fields without hook ups are on a 20 degree incline and nigh on impossible to get pegs into due to the rocky nature of the ground.

Just returned from our first camping trip so have little to compare this site to.
Good facilities although felt a few more toilets would have been appropriate for the size of sight, and the gents were sometimes a bit lacking in the cleanliness department.
We enjoyed the pool, especially as the week was sooo hot! Great children's play park.
The site was on quite a slope, we were fortunate and had a level pitch but some pitches must have been very difficult as they were at such an angle.
We found it a friendly site, in a great area of the country, and it helped to make our first camping holiday a positive experience.

On the whole a very good, well equipped site with excellent facilities and amenities. The kids all loved the playground and the pool which was heated that well at times it was almost like getting into a hot bath!
The 2 down sides to the site were the clubhouse and the quality of the ground for pitching a tent or awning. Because it is on the side of a mountain, the undersoil is pure rock. If you're quite happy with having to buy a couple of extra packs of pegs half way through pitching because all of yours have bent, then enjoy your stay! The clubhouse was just far too small for the number of people staying there. We had to get the management to move half of the tables out of the way so we could get the baby's pushchair in!
Griping aside, this was one of the most enjoyable family holidays we've had so far. The views from the site down towards Teignmouth bay and shaldon harbour are fantastic, and if you're lucky enough to be there during carnival week, you'll get the best view of the fireworks display from the car park!
A must while you are there is to visit Teignmouth town, beach and pier, especially a great ice cream bar called Scoopys for a Seafood platter and banana split .... the holiday wouldn't be complete without it!

Great little site on the hillside overlooking teignmouth.
Very clean toilet & shower block which I noticed is checked several times a day. Good warm showers too.
Clubhouse is great for evening entertainment, ideal for a family and it is so relaxing in their indoor pools which have panoramic views over the whole bay.
Nice little par 3 munincipal golf course just across the road as well.
The only down side is that some of the pitches are rather packed in, so if you go in the holiday season I can imagine it could be rather crowded.
Would strongly recommend this site and we are looking to return this year.
