Where do I begin what an absolute gem of a site. Great welcome which continued throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble. The grounds and facilities were first class in particular the toilet and shower block always immaculate. You have to bear in mind that the owners also work full time and bringing up a young family the site is a credit to them. Everyone we spoke to on site had the same view. The area itself was a delight and an excellent pub which was litterly two minutes walk great food and a lovely welcome. Someone in the village has gone to the trouble of preparing series of walks which we took advantage of; a great idea. All in all a really good experience and thoroughly recommended.

Just back after spending 2 nights at this beautiful site. Amazing views and facilities. Short walk to village, nice pub, food ok-ish bit expensive for what you get though, but lovely atmosphere. Although the weather was horrendous the first day, the overall stay was fabulous. A credit to the owners. Really can't wait to return, hopefully really soon. Thank you!

Just back from a lovely bank holiday weekend at Cefn Cae site - beautiful set up - small and friendly. Facilities all well laid out and lovely spacious family shower rooms. Nice touch is the recommended walks around the area and the local pubs/restaurant menus available to browse through.
A spacious area for the children to play in with goal nets and a basketball post - we had a nice meal on the first night in the pub 5 mins walk away. Conway only a short drive away. We will return again as would love to explore more of the beautiful area.

This campsite is a real gem. We spent 4 nights there and found everything to be excellent. The showers are hot and the shower room is big enough for a family. The shower room has a toilet and wash basin too. There are also male and female toilets. There is a kitchen area with microwave, fridge, freezer and washing up sink.
The camping fields are perfectly situated with lovely views, neat and today with flowers around.
The site is on the edge of the village of Rowen, a very pretty village on the edge of Snowdonia Natioal Park, and only a couple of hundred yards from the village pub. There is a post office in the village which sells most things you may need. It s a short and easy drive into Conwy which has easy parking. There is a bus stop in the village and at the moment there is a taxi bus which runs into Conwy and back (free).
The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. There are many walks around the village and maps and tourist info are provided on the site.
We'll be back.

I must admit, I cannot fault this Caravan and Camping Club CS site having just returned from an enjoyable stay over the Easter weekend.
Location wise, you are in a beautiful little village (Rowen) in the Conwy Valley and are located just inside the Snowdonia National Park. Also on your doorstep are the beaches and towns of Conwy and Llandudno, suffice to say there is enough to see and do for most families.
The site is very well kept and run, the owners friendly and could not be more helpful.
Facilities are very clean with two family shower rooms and two toilets, also there is the usual dish washing facilities and even fridge\freezer\microwave for you to use.
There is also a nice little pub serving great food. All in all cannot recommend enough and would definitely return.

Fab Find!Well worth a visit, good base camp to travel round. Lovely walks from site as we found out when our kids took us for a walk. That big of a hill climb we had to call into the village pub which is literally 2mins walk from site. Lovely friendly pub and good meals. The site has very clean facilities power points/fridges/pot washing facilities which are well maintained by the owner and are very helpful. It was that good we booking for our next weeks holiday. Might get to go to the fishing lakes which is less than a mile away. Absolute gem :-)

Just returned from five nights at this brilliant little site. The pitches are well spaced out so you don't feel overcrowded. The pitches are all grass and we had no problem pegging our porch awning out. In the shower block there are 2 large cubicles with shower, sink and a toilet and 2 other separate toilets with sinks. The showere are free with plenty of hot water. Soap is provided to all sinks. There is also a pot washing area and a separate fridge and freezer. Plenty of leaflets for things to do are in a small rack. The local pub the ty gwynn is only 200 yards away and serves good meals and good cask ale. Local shop and post office a further 200 yards. Some of the narrow roads aren't for the faint hearted and if you come in from Conwy there is a narrow arch to go through. We should only have stayed four nights but a drivebelt broke on the car. Got a replacement belt but to fit it the engine mount had to come off. Asked Gwennan about a local garage and her hubby is a mechanic. Car was fixed in a couple of hours but too late to drive home. All in all will definitely be back to this great little site.

Lovely little site with panoramic views.
Gwenan the site owner is lovely, friendly and helpful.
Nice big shower rooms with own toilet and washbasin.
Very short walk into village which is very pretty.
Beware of Sat Nav instructions though, which we didn't and came down impossible road into Rowan. Follow instructions on the website (again which we didn't).
Only complaint would be the sign to the site is very small and easily missed (we did).

Fabulous views all around and only a few minutes walk from Rowen, the friendliest village ever. Lovely walks nearby. Local pub TyGwyn has simple yet really good food. Torch needed to walk back from the pub at night.
Good base for exploring the area. Conwy has a car park just behind the castle with dedicated Motorhome spaces at very good rate.
Site not that flat in some bits all are grass, so take some blocks to get your fridge level. Toilet block clean but not glamorous. Will happily return.

Read some great reviews for this site and decided it was for us (and our two dogs!) Arrived to a warm welcome and a great pitch. Facilities were excellent. Very quiet at night. Good for touring around Lleyn Peninsular and Anglesey. Conwy and Llandudno close by. Will certainly visit here again. First class site.
