 Just got home from this site, I would just like to say what a great little site this is. Toilets/Shower cubicles very clean, nice level pitches, Gwenan the lady who owns site very friendly and nice person went into the local pub on Friday night where they had local people singing what a great night. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.

What a lovely peaceful site and very welcoming owners too.
We were looking for a quiet for a relaxing couple of days not too far from home and this ticked all the boxes.
The facilities were great and very clean there was a great pub at the bottom of the track and my husband and I just relaxed !
The site is only a few miles from Conwy and the North Wales Coast there is a little shop in the village, a good pub and apparently another posher restaurant. There is also a good gastro pub abgout a mile away. There is a large Tesco in Llandudno Junction which is about 15 minutes drive. Whilst we were there we saw one of the tents having a Tesco online order delivered !
The site has only been open three months; the owners are really nice and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble - not too many rules and regulations.

They have usefully added a couple of toilets since our last visit, so the facilities work really well for the size of the site. It's safe enough for the grand kids to go to the bathroom on their own, so we get a break and they learn to be independent.
The fridge and freezer make all the difference for an easy camp with two fussy eaters.
We love the pub down the track which has a lovely garden. The kids played in the stream while we watched with a beer.
How can you fault a 3 night holiday for 4, coming in at under a £100 including a boat trip, lunch out and a castle visit. Not once did the kids complain they were bored, despite the no gadgets rule. There is no playground but to be honest it means less arguments about whose turn it is and the kids just have to play.

This is a perfect CL, with electric hook-ups, 2 shower rooms and 4 toilets, brand new and always clean. Beautiful views on all sides. Friendly, helpful owners. Short walk to dog friendly pub with tasty food and lots of walking in area - great if you have dogs. Only 5 miles from Conwy and lots of other attractions within a short drive. Very good rates and flat, grassed site. Lots of visitor information in barn, as well as fridge, freezer and microwave.

Just returned from this site after 5 days camping, lovely site owners are brilliant people great area for walking. Toilet and shower facilities are very good free hot water, the owner built two new toilets now making 4 toilets two showers, cant beat that for such a small site. Shall definitely come again, one of the best sites I have been on.

Part of me doesn't want to let the world know that this site is a little gem. The other part does as I wish the owners all the best with their venture! We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful site, which although tucked out of the way in the village of Rowan is handy for Snowdonia, Conwy & Llandudno. The pitches are flat and the amenities immaculate. We will be back!

Visited this site last w/end. We were parked up next to the last reviewer Hevnbern!
Great little site. £15. 00 incl. Eh - £12 without. Immaculate in every way. 10 eh's, nice views, very friendly owners.
As stated before, the village of Rowen is very quaint. The pub is terrific and only 5mins from the site. We didn't eat there, but we were drooling at the platefulls passing us!
There is also a small spar type shop.
Not much we can add that hasn't been covered by the previous reviews. The only big downside - we didn't want to leave!
We wish the owners of Cefn Cae all the very best in their new venture. They thoroughly deserve every success.

We have just got back from a lovely 3 night stay in the pre erected bell tent with our 2 granddaughters. It was amazing with loads of room. (We are now going to go out and buy our own tent/camping stuff). The kids loved it and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back and would recommend the site to family and friends.

A really nice site. This is a reasonably priced site, and with a lot of sites in N Wales clocking up at £20 - £24 for 2 adults + 2 kids you will break even on the club membership after a few nights.
The important stuff - flat, well drained, sheltered and good clean bathrooms, lovely helpful owners.
Added bonus - kitchen with fridge freezer.
Location is in a lovely quiet village with a very nice pub 200 yds walk. There is a village shop selling basics. The site is very safe for children as the field is fenced and the working bits of the farm are gated off. There are no ponds or streams. Despite near perfect conditions there were no biting midges, Each pitch has plenty of room and there is a field for children to play in which may be cut or might be longer grass.

We stayed at this site recently and can highly recommend the site. It was such a relaxing break in an idyllic village. The site looks immaculate with well maintained grounds and new toilet facilities that were always clean with lovely free hot showers. The kitchen area was well equipped with freezer and a fridge available.
There is so much to do in the area with numerous walks around the area and Conwy only 3 miles away. The pub is only a short walk from site and serve delicious food. We would not hesitate to recommend this site we can’t wait to return!
