Change to this site on arrival in cornwall, we had originally booked another site, but it was not to our expectations. We phone christine who owns the site and she promptly accomodated our 2 outfits next to each other. We notice a lot of improvements from last year, and we were told they will be alot more at the close of this season. Next year we will more than likley be booking here for our main hols instead of being disapointed by inferior sites nearby. Excellent site , well managed ,looking forward to next year already

Went here for our holidays last year for 2 week. Was a very nice site, pitches were ok. Pub quite good with entertainment through the week but not at weekends due to change over days. Cafe/takeaway on site, didnt use it too much , after having to wait over 30mins for a coffee on our arrival. Small childrens games room with a few arcade machines. Quite a good play area out side for the kids to burn their energy off. The outside pool, kids only used it once due to it being very cold, not really well heated. We were lucky to be near the toilet /shower block which had been modernized but others were a bit run down. But all in all a nice site and will use it again at some point.

We have stayed twice at this site and will definitely go again. Christine and Keith were extremely friendly people and couldn't do enough to help. One of the cleanest, well kept and maintained sites we have been on. This site deserves awards and lots of them!

Just returned from 2 glorious weeks at this fantastic site. All the amenities where excellent the shower and toilet blocks were kept in immaculate condition, bins around the site where emptied regularly. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Christine and Keith the site owners where an absolute delight. The camp was patrolled in the evening by a security guard. He made sure there was no noise after 11 although he did not really need to. Shop on site was reasonably well stocked although a touch expensive. Only one issue the pool filter did not seem to work properly as there was always clumps of hair floating around. I would suggest a net to clean the pool each day and a cover to go on during the evening. We have already booked to go back next year.

Just got back from Newperran. Had to cut hols short but the site is in a good location for traveling around Cornwall. The facilities are quite good and the pitch sizes are big and open, the pub has a good selection of beers and some of the acts are really good, Eddison Lighthouse were excellent. The swimming pool although big enough and well terraced was quite cold. The owners Christine and Keith are without doubt brilliant and willing to help with any problems and work their socks off, the only downside were the shower blocks only one has been modernized and as such long queue's can occur and I'm sure if you asked the owners they would like to get the others modernized, all in all it cannot be that bad as we are booking for next year.

Just back from our 4th stay at Newperran so I guess we do like it. Been 2 years since our last visit, now many more hook ups and 1 refurbished toilet block. The rest are to be done this winter (a good job too!) with a pool refurb the year after. The owners are very friendly and have invested a lot of cash since they bought it, One point, they are paranoid about security & safety so you may be put off by the number of CCTV cameras about. Other than that lots of big pitches and you dont feel hemmed in and within easy reach of great beaches like Perranporth. A good family holiday site. We have booked for next year!

July 2005 Just come back from a great holiday at Newperran Holiday Park, it is a friendly, modern site, which is fairly large and spacious. The site has an outdoor pool, which is very clean and refreshing. The site's facilities are also very clean.
The onsite "Inn" is resonably priced, and spacious, with a good atmosphere.
Although it rained throughout our visit to cornwall the ground in which our tent was pitched stayed solid and firm, again this is well maintained.
Like the Inn the shop and café are resonably priced and well stocked.
Newperran is based off the main road between Newquay and Redruth, just outside "Goonhavern" and as such it offers good views and silence, from the main roads. It proved as a good base for exploring southern and western parts of cornwall. The best beach near to the site is Perranporth, this is approximately 4-5 miles away, and is a great lifeguard patrolled beach for swimming, surfing etc. I'd definitely come back again.
