Good clean facilities and friendly staff. Notwithstanding this choose a pitch away from bar/club-house if you want a peaceful night’s sleep. Don’t book at this site whenever there’s a match on at the football stadium in Cardiff.

Dec 2003 Very nice site, quiet because of time of year, but bar open and a very nice meal. Warden very helpful. Shower block lovely and warm and spotless. Thought we were going to the back of beyond, but once we found it (very hard to find) and went past the industrial estate, it was another world, beautiful! We even had a good snowfall which unfortunately only lasted 1 day, but it was great. Definitely go back there again.

25/04/03 Hi Called at this site for the weekend as we were going to the rugby league challange cup final and wanted to stay out of cardiff
Nice site in the process of being devolped, mainly caravans has a pub on the site which serves meals(decent prices) very frielndl staff. Children caterd for but not allowed in the lounge bar after 9pm but can use the games room after this time. Facilites at the top of the site are fantastic, facilities at the bottom of the site near the tent area are adequate The site is very open with fantastic views across the valleys One problem if you get bad weather I.E rain and wind you get the full brunt of it. If in a tent like us our advice is to take an awning strap or two and secure your tent. we were glad of ours as we did,nt think we would have had a tent left in the morning without it.
all in all a nice site and the local people very helpful and friendly.

June 2002 A nice site. The shower units were very clean and a pleasure to use. There were some beautiful views from the bottom of the site over the valley/ The on-site pub was very reasonably priced for evening meals. An 8oz rump steak with potatoes, mushrooms and onions for £4.95. Excellent value and good service too. Highly recommended site.

There are toilet blocks with wash basin and free hot showers. There are shaver points in the men's wash-room. There is a washing-up area and laundry room with washing machines. There is a childrens room to help keep them out of trouble. There is a shop on site and a new site 'Pub' which has a restaurant with a good menu. Dogs are permitted and there gas can be supplied.
The pitch had it's own water tap, easy electric hook up, and waste pipes straight into drain so no collection required on waste water. Beautiful view, straight across the valley for about 5 to 10 miles, with tops of other Mountains clearly visible, looking West.
The site consists of 10 permanent holiday static vans, Approx 30 hard stand concrete pads, about 10 new in past few months. All with electric hook up and drainage, although many were taken with permanent tourers chained to the concrete. Second large area with a few hardstandings and electric hook-ups, but no drainage connections, ample room for about 50 units, this area also has a toilet block, as did ours, with disposal area etc, all in excellent condition and cleaned out thoroughly daily. Third field with room for at least another 50 units, no toilet block though, and another large area being prepared as extension.
Nice club, but no shop. Public phones on site. Owners live on site in large house, quite impressive. A good looking site for the summer, but we found out why the other vans were chained down, the site is very open with little or no protection from the south and west.
There is also a play area for kids, and a storage compound with about 100 vans in it that was the only part really protected.
