This is by far one of the best campsites in wales! beautiful location, and wonderful people. when we got there last year we'd lost the stopper out of our airbed. The campsite owners made a contraption out of a screw and some masking tape for us to try. We slept comfortably for the rest of the weekend.
10 min walk to a lovely beach, bar which looks like its on site but actually is part of a diving school. again very friendly - even have kareaoke competitions on a sat night. what a good laugh. ferry terminal 5 min in a taxi so dublin is a cheap day out. we've been visiting this site now for some 8 or 9 years now. Its ace!

Very cheap site, ideal for anyone on a budget. Toilets,showers (20p) and dish washing facilities ,all clean but basic. Also a laundry and shop, with limited stock. Pub on site, open weekends low season. The owners and staff are very friendly. Although set in country side , with a beach 10 mins walk away, Holyhead ferry terminal is only 30 mins walk / 5 mins drive, Making it an ideal base for a day trip to Ireland too.

Wow!!!! Whis site is a fantastic site for any budgeting family, we as a family of six have been going for a couple of years now and the whole family loves it.the camping fields are all seperated by hills and rocks which the kids usually explore when we are putting the tent up,the owners who i might add are very friendly let you camp where ever you want and dont seem to mind kids at all.
There is a shop on site for essentials a launderette, public phone, showers which take 20pence and are in the toilet block which are clean but basic!! the best news though has to be the price,as far as i can tell valley of the rocks is the cheep and cheerful site of trearrdur bay !! p.s there is a beautiful beach with toilets just ten minutes walk away
