 Every Spring
We found Magic Cover by accident when drinking in a pub nearby, and have been going for 9 years now.
A lovely small friendly sheltered site, which Stan the magician recently passed on to his daughter Lesley.
It is small, so if you have 28ft Caravan/Awning, or a tent the size of a small county, then go elsewhere, but if you prefer your sites small friendly and run the old fashioned way (in the best meaning of the phrase) then go to Magic Cove.
There is no club, no facilities beyond v.clean toilets/showers, water, and hook up, but everything you need is 5 minutes walk away by the beach and seafront.
Oh and only come to Mawgan Porth if you like DOGS.
As one of the last Dog Friendly areas in the country, it's Dog owners heaven, so if you don't, then please go to one of the many areas in the country dogs aren't welcome. Chevys Dad.

My parents have been visiting this site yearly since I was a teenager and absolutely love it. I now have two children of my own and my husband and I have been a couple of times. We are going again in May 2004 and cant wait. The site is very basic...just what we want. A local butcher does deliver with excellent quality produce for the all essential bbq! The beach is superb, the scenery breathtaking and the facilities around the beach (shop, pub etc) are all you need. A fantastic place to escape too and chill out!
