We used this site to try out our newly acquired motorhome. Though only a few miles from home we knew nothing of this site. First contact was via email and I got a prompt concise and friendly reply. On arrival at the site we were very pleasantly surprised of the neatness and tidiness of everything. Pitches are gravel hard-standings each having electric, water and waste water points. A small grassy area with small shrubs separates each pitch. The washing up and toilet/shower facilities are spotlessly clean and centrally heated - a boon at this time (Autumn)of the year. There are two pubs within 400mtrs one is part of the Hungry Horse group, known for it's large portions. 200mtrs from the site entrance is the bus stop for the large modern Telford shopping centre - every 20mins, and other destinations. There is also a cycle track, laid out with points of local historical interest, that runs to Ironbridge. The husband and wife team who manage the site are really friendly and extremely helpful. We will visit again.

All the facilities on the site were kept spotless. The site wardens were very helpful about the area, and had lots of leaflets to hand, also they were very friendly always stopping for a chat. The site is all hard standing with plenty of room around the pitch, level and well lit during the night, if you needed to use the loos. I will go there again! The site is within walking distance of Telford and Ironbridge, there are cycle routes all around the area.

We book this site for the first time for 7 days and stayed for 11 days. This site is excellent. Very friendly and site managers are very helpful and always ready to help you. The site is very clean and tidy. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean and the owner is always checking and cleaning them. Could not wish for a better site. It is an excellent and convenient for the blis hill and museums. There is a good bus service from the bottom of the road from the site. Love it so much booked for next year.

Great little site, good showers and toilets which are all cleaned regularly, covered wash-up area with laundry facilities. The pitches are smaller than some and the hard standing is very hard, we have an awning and struggled to get the pegs in, a drill would be recommended. Dog walks in adjacent woodland with further walks just over the site road. The owners are friendly and helpful. Ideal location for touring the Ironbridge museums and attractions, Telford quite near as well. A fun pub and a Hungry Horse pub/eatery are just near the entrance road to the site. Will definitely be returning.

Great site we have used before but now (hurrah) have newly opened mens toilet block so no more sharing. There was a problem with booking as we were booked in for the wrong week but the kind owners arranged for us to stay anyway hooked up to electrics so no panic. Quiet site as adults only with a lovely dog walk (stout walking boots advised as uneven underfoot)and well located not far from the park and ride for Ironbridge. Parking in towns in the area is very restrictive for longer units so be warned

We have just come back from a thoroughly nice weekend at this campsite, the weather was fine and the site was fine, in fact it was better than fine, it was excellent.
Previous reviewers have mentioned the Unisex toilets well I have to report that they are no more. Last weekend was the weekend they reverted to being male and female.
The manager and manageress at the site were excellent, friendly and very very helpful. The site is one of the most manicured sites I have ever stayed on, very prim and proper, very clean and tidy.
Severn Gorge campsite is very convenient for the Ironbridge Museums, Blists Hill is about a 20 minute walk away. We quickly found out that as annual members to the museums we were able to use the local buses free of charge, they do a circular route covering most of the attractions.
It is an adult only site so is very peaceful.
One last thing to say is that it is also very good value for money at £18. 75 per night inc electric.

This again has been a Excellent holiday Park for us, and very nice to see the new separate mens and ladies toilet facilities in use and as always all the Park was kept spotlessly clean. Managers Lin & Ron were very helpful. Fully serviced pitches & hookups having drinking water and waste water and electrics to each pitch and all on level ground. Nice warm clean showers within toilet blocks. There is another sub block for washing pot & pans up and also washing and drying machines available
The surrounding areas have good doggie walks in the woodlands. There are pubs and bus stop at bottom of road. Loads to do in Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. Loved our stay,
See you again soon.

Used this site as it was close to Travelworld, who are a newly appointed Hymer agents and they were nominated to undertake some warranty work.
We had a very warm welcome and even offered the key to the accessible washroom if we were nervous about the unisex facilities, even though there were no other campers. We also visited the Ironbridge museums as the site was only a few miles away. We will return as we have an annual passport for the museums. The managers have a wealth of tourism knowledge and are enthusiastic to share it.

Our stay was ok despite the fact our electric kept tripping and our only appliances working were the fridge and TV. To make matters worse every time our electric tripped so did the ladies next door to us, I can tell you she wasn't very happy about that.
The toilet block was clean and tidy with music playing, however I did get a nasty shock when I came out of a cubicle to find an elderly man standing at a wash basin having a shave wearing nothing but a hand towel. I do think that toilet/showers should be His & Hers not unisex, it looked as though there had been more toilet/showers but they are now closed off by a gate.
Overall a nice friendly little site, ideal for visiting Ironbridge but for us we wont be going back unless it changes to His & Her toilets

The park was easy to find. The touring area is a sectioned off part of a caravan park, it has space for about 10 units. Altough the site has numerous awards on the wall, we found it pretty basic considering it was not the cheapest we have stayed at.
Positives:
The park was clean, tidy & well kept.
It was quiet & peaceful.
There is a short dog walking area directly behind the touring area.
The person in reception was friendly & helpful.
There is a pub that does food a few yards away from entrance to park.
Negatives:
The loos & showers are unisex, which I was not comfortable with.
The showers are timed, to about 2mins, which is a pain.
The nearest shop is about 2miles away, which we wouldn't have found without directions.
