Just returned from this lovely site had a lovely weekend although some people had problems with there water pumps freezing (it all adds to the fun)we pitched on pitch 38 great spot if you are nosey like me. lovely clean site, ehu, play area, well spaced out pitches and good facilities showers/toilets/laundry/etc. You can get many essentials from reception otherwise a short journey to Madeley (you cant walk it) The site will in 2007 only take 10 tourers because they are increasing their park home estate.

July 2005 Have just returned from a 3 night stay at Severn Gorge Park. Even though the weather wasn't that good we really enjoyed our stay. The tent pitches were on an elevated part of the field with steps down so you didn't have to walk all the way round to get to the toilet block. The loos and showers are kept spotlessly clean and they have numerous loo of the year awards. Wash up area indoors and a launderette. Had to punch in a code to get the barrier open after 7pm. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here.

March 2005 Visited during the last glorious weekend. Very friendly welcome, and easy to find, not far from the M54. Straight forward booking in, and you can choose your pitch if you get there early enough. Pitches are spacious with plenty of water points and waste disposal. Lovely shower block. Everything is not too far to walk, and there is a small playground set up on the rise, and the site is set amongst lovely wooded areas. There is a Hungry Horse PH within 5-10 mins walk from the site, if you so wish. You can also buy Ironbridge Passport tickets from the reception, along with basic provisions. All in all, a jolly fine time had by all.

July 2004 An excellent site where the owners clearly take great pride in its appearance. The facilities block is immaculate, clean and well serviced, and the shower cubicles have elbow room! The staff are friendly and the service efficient. The shop is a bit basic but good enough for immediate needs. Local shops are not far away and there are 3 pubs in easy walking distance. The nearest pub does good food (it is a Hungry Horse), shame their beer is abysmal. The other close pubs do decent beer but no food. Also a dog-friendly site with plenty of walks in the immediate vicinity. A highly recommended site, very convenient for the Ironbridge Gorge.

May Bank Holiday 2004 Nice site which really caters for caravans, motor homes and trailer tents. Tent pitches were up a hill, but flat and not very big. Toilets and showers were clean. Showers had plenty of room in them. Shop on site very basic. Nice play area for kids and a couple of little nature trails. Friendly staff on site.
Ten minute drive to Ironbridge with of course the bridge, shops and pubs. Telford Town Centre very good for shopping - all indoor. Hungry Horse pub 10 min walk away - lovely food.

15/2/04 We only stayed here for one night. The site is well maintained - it's one of those with the green signs with cream writing that you seem to see at caravan and camping sites - yeah it's probably their logo! Anyway the site is a "proper" site so good toilets, washing up etc. Showers looked good too.
We were parked by a hill which the kids kept climbing up which was dead muddy - don't know if they're thinking of doing something with it!! There is also a dog walk.
We paid £16.60 for four of us with a hook up. I thought this was really dear for the time of year - having said that it was Sunday in half term but what must it be like in the summer??

October 2003 A very nice campsite well laid out with a very pleasant staff in attendance. Water taps are plentiful and the shower block is very clean and heated. We will return.

October 2003 Fantastic site. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers. Big sinks for washing up pots and pans. Site is very neat and tidy. My only complaint is that the tent site is raised up from the rest of the site so it has very little shelter from the wind, the caravan site is more sheltered. But then we did visit in October so we've only ourselves to blame really! I would definately go here again though.

july 2003 revisited this site after several years. Found its excellent standards had not deteriorated though the price had increased. However its worth paying for a stay at such a clean, well organised site ( a credit to the staff managing it). i was pleased to see that the increased number of hardstandings had improved the rain water drainage, and that the site was still quiet, relaxing and uncommercialised. I'll be back sooner next time.

Definitely one of the best sites we've been to. Good size hardstanding pitches (pity more UK sites don't see the value of a bit of gravel!); close to main attractions and walking distance to 2 pubs; showers etc. spotless; staff friendly - the complete oppsite to the pigsty we drove into and straight out again on the other side of the Severn next to the power station.........
Would definitely use again.
