Excellent touring Park, very clean toilet facilities and all the Park was kept spotlessly clean. Managers Lin & Ron were very helpful. Fully serviced pitches & hookups having drinking water and waste water and electrics to each pitch and all on level ground. Nice warm clean showers within the main toilet block. There is another sub block for washing pot & pans up and also washing and drying machines available
The surrounding area has good doggie walks in the woodlands. There are pubs and bus stop at bottom of road. Loads to do in Ironbridge and Bridgenorth. What more could we ask for loved our stay, will be back soon.

This site has changed since previous reviews. The touring fields have been sold for park homes and it is now a small 10 pitch touring park for adults only. Open all year.
All pitches are hard standing with EHU, water and drainage.
Facilities are very good; large toilet cubicles with washbasin, showers with plenty of space. There is an indoor washing up room and laundry room.
New managers, Ron & Lynne are very helpful.
There is a bus stop at the end of the drive and a pub serving meals within 5 minute walk.
We would definitely recommend this site.

Adults only site with easy access to Telford. There are 10 touring pitches in a compound and the rest of the site is bungalows.
The site is very secure and quiet. Barrier for access at night.
Most of the others on the site appeared to be long term pitched or regulars who were all friendly.
Waste and water on pitch which was great. Toilets and showers are unisex in what appears to be half of the old toilet block from when it was a bigger touring site. 3 showers, 3 toilets, all kept very clean and the block was warm. Washing up sink/clothes wash area with machines.
Pitches are long but thin – you cannot get a car and caravan alongside each other on the hardstanding so the car has to go in front of the caravan. If your van is large the car has to be wriggled on in a T formation across the front of the van and wardens are strict about how you park. Between the pitches is a strip of grass with bushes but you are not far away from the next pitch.
Large Sainsburys a few miles away.
Good area for cycling – the Siskin way and other local cycle tracks maintained well and lots of pretty villages to visit.
Dog walk on site in the woods and direct access to Tweedale woods just by the barrier.
Blists Hill and the other museums in Ironbridge Gorge worth a visit – dogs only allowed in Blists Hill and not in the exhibits.

My nan and grandad live there in a bungalow and I think its wonderful. Ssadly I do not know what it is like in a caravan but there's clean showers, toilets and a little shop for bread milk etc - what more do you want? If you do take children there, there is nothing like a park or anything but there is the woods and the massive pond at the far end of SGP. Ironbridge is nearby with the several museums and maybe a nice day at bridgenorth at the park, by the river and have a nice chippie on the fields OR even at severn valley railway park where you can walk all on the hills and watch the train in the distance. I'm 12 and I think its fabulous in the countryside and the only time I get to see it is when I'm here because I live in Birmingham. Also I recommend rays farm, its really good and the animals are well looked after but if you decide to go to hoo's farm the animals are quite scuffy and look neglected and its also expensive for what your going for. I love SGP and always will :-)

Had a brilliant stay at Severn Gorge. Great welcome from Cath and otherhalf. Only 10 hard standing pitches but great, nice and quiet, the loos were very clean and warm, and with heart FM playing what more could you ask for. The weather was frosty but no problems. Bus stop bottom of drive, buses every 10 mins if needed and 2 pubs, one to the right and one to left. The cuckoo oak has good food (pub grub but nevertheless what we had was fine). I will be visiting again throughout the year 2009. Have a great 2009 Severn Gorge Park.

This is a nice site, adults only now as the rest are residential homes. If you are using an awning make sure you have rock pegs as the ground is concrete. Nice size fully serviced pitches, good toilet/shower facilities. Over all a useful site with helpful wardens only criticism was noise on Saturday as they were working on new site for more residential homes.

I think most people have said the same as myself here, that the Severn Gorge park is a nice, clean place with excellent toilet/washing up facilities. You can't get better, in this part of the world, than the museums and places of interest around the Severn Gorge and Ironbridge is, of course, beautiful. One word of warning, however. Telford itself is a dump, and doesn't appear on the chav towns website for no reason. It's a weired amalgamation of housing estates with barricaded shops and 'community centres' - traveller beware.

Spent the last 5 days of the summer holiday here. The site was nice and quiet, with vans spaced well apart. Small shop in reception selling pop, break, milk, beans ? the shower/wc block although not upto CC standards , was kept spotlessly clean by the owners, who incidently are a really nice couple !
The location is fantastic , I was aprehensive as ironbridge is better known by its power station , but for the kids there is so much to do ! Theres Blists hill - a Victorian village that you need to spend the full day at, the Enginuity, Cosford air museum which is a full day out ! And although a 5 minuite thing - the tar tunnell is weird ! Buy a passport to the attractions if you go , as it saves a packet on admissions
The site is located near to a pub - brewers afyre or similar , thats ok for a kiddie tea !
All in all a great place to have a break , and our 3 & 8 year olds loved it

A great well looked after site close to Telford town centre. Well laid out pitches with hard standing to all however ground was a bit hard for getting some pegs in. Adequate play area at back of site for the kids. Great shower block with free hot (a bit too hot) showers and very clean loos. Not to expensive and near enough to some great attractions. Well worth a visit.

What a disappointment. The pictures on the website and also in the brochure are obviously very old. There is no field for tents to camp on and we were offered one pitch which they expected a trailer tent to fit on and also a Vango 600 Diablo. When we questioned this we were told "This pitch has held 6 2 man tents!" . The trailer tent had to be moved to a hard standing pitch. The playground is nothing like the picture in the brochure and our children were very disappointed. The toilets were immaculate and could not be faulted.
