Easy to find and once past the statics a lovely open and well equipped campsite unfolds.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. £10 deposit required for late entry key, makes you take the key back!
We had a pitch with EHU, water and grey waste on pitch which was very good, personally did not think pitch was wide enough as our awning went onto the grass by quite a bit. The grass needed cutting but we were told it wasn't going to be done as grass cuttings would be all over our awning and motorhome, instead we had to walk through wet grass all the time!
Toilets were clean with ample hot water, though to be honest the signs proclaiming Loo of the year are way over the top, we have been to many places this year with far superior facilities and just as clean if not cleaner.
The disabled toilet also doubles up as the family room which may be OK out of school holidays but when you have families camping in tents etc, it becomes extremely busy.
The warden is great, he is the first warden we have ever seen who when he saw children playing cricket where ball games are prohibited, directed them to another area well away from potential damage to other people and their property.
The playgrounds were excellent and in sight of most pitches so kids could play in sight of parents etc.
All in all a good site with lovely staff and well situated.

Lovely site, well maintained with very clean facilities but not well managed. If you want a peaceful, relaxing break, this is not it, its far too noisy.
Despite having a number of rules including 'no undue noise between 9pm and 8am' no-one patrols to keep an eye on things. On leaving reception on our arrival and heading up the drive towards the camping field, a football came hurtling towards the car (there are signs all over the site saying no ball games). The teenager looked horrified when he realised it was going to hit the car and we put it down to a one-off, however, the children (and adults!) continued playing in the field where we were pitching. Noise just continued from there. One of the play areas is at the top of the site and children were playing all night. Whilst I like to see children happy and playing, when they're still running around and shouting and screaming loudly at 10. 45pm its a bit much. Especially as one group were playing tag around our tent. The second night it was noisy til gone midnight but this time from a group of adults! Thankfully we were only staying two nights. Yes I could have complained but who wants to do that, I just won't go back, and given that the site has 'very important information on the back of the plan' (the list of rules) that reception pointed out on arrival that we must read, I don't think I should have to. I would expect someone to be patrolling to keep any anti-social behaviour to a minimum or to point out on arrival that they do have some groups in at the moment to at least prepare you for the inevitable noise that brings. Instead I thought I would give some feedback on departure rather than a complaint, acknowledging that sometimes you get noisy families, its just the luck of the drawer but that we were disappointed no-one was patrolling etc. Expecting someone to ask us how our stay was when we returned the gate key (for which you have to leave a £10 deposit) but we only got a hello so didn't bother.
The surrounding area is wonderful though and there are some lovely walks direct from the site. The walk to Stainforth Force taking in Catrigg Force is lovely. The pub at Stainforth, the Craven Heifer, is lovely and does great food.
There is no shop or basic facilities on site but as aforementioned, the site is very well maintained so if you don't mind noise and kids running around until late at night, give it a go, it just wasn't for us.

As mentioned by others, don't be put off by the approach to the campsite. Once you are past the mobile homes at the entrance the park opens up into spacious and attractive areas for tourers. The pitches are level and spacious with good views all around. The toilets and showers are excellent. The walks from the site are excellent and the staff are very helpful providing maps and information. WiFi is included and is a good speed. Reasonable price for the quality of the site.

Lovely few days spent at Langcliffe in between Christmas and New Year.
The park is easy to find and well maintained. We paid for a deluxe pitch and found it to be mostly level with good drainage and fairly sheltered (some of the pitches further up were a bit more open). The toilet block was lovely and warm and very clean, the showers had plenty of hot water.
The walk to Settle is very easy and the town has really come on since we last came here 10 years ago! Nice shops and pubs - really nice to be able to have that in walking distance!
All in all this is a great camp-site with very friendly and helpful staff. We will be returning and would recommend it very highly.

Don't be put off by the paper mill or the static caravans as you arrive at Langcliffe, the touring and tent areas of this well laid out site are beautifully landscaped and maintained.
Despite it being peak season and the site almost full it remained tranquil.
The facilities and free WiFi are all top qualify.
It's a 20mins easy walk into Settle with its pubs cafes and shops.
The wardens are happy to advise on local walks starting from the site and even provide maps of the local area.
All in all a super spot.

I stopped on this site with my 3 children aged 12, 9 and 7. We were allocated a Pitch at the far end of the site which was perfect for us. The grass is well maintained as are the toilets and showers as well as the 2 playgrounds.
The site team is headed up by Steve, they all do a great job and were always helpful.
The Town of Settle is only 5 minutes drive/15 min walk and has a Co-Op and Booths for all food supplies and along with plenty of camping shops, bike shops and Pubs.
The site is quiet, there are no amusement arcades/bars/Discos which is just what we were looking for.
We will definitely be back along with other family members who also camped and were equally impressed.

Nice, well-organised site - perhaps a little more regimented than we are used to but still quite relaxed.
Showers and toilets are very clean, and there is plenty of hot water with decent water pressure.
The location is peaceful, with the steam railway running behind the site.
The town of Settle is within easy reach, lovely place.

First class facilities, very friendly, perfect location.
This has the most spectacular scenery, and some fantastic activities for all the family. There are 2 play area's, and lots of wild rabbits roaming around the campsite, which will keep the children happy.
10 out of 10, every time.
The site is located close to Settle, a good old fashioned English village, with bags of characted.
Also, there is a Waterfalls walk nearby, which has some of the most spectacular views in England. This is a must for everyone.
There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, banks. All you should need for a great holiday.

Had a very pleasant stay at this site again. This is our 4th stay at this site.
We love the site great facilities very friendly, helpful staff and the location is great for walking into Settle for a few drinks/meals.
There are some lovely views from the site and the surrounding areas are great for both walkers and biking.
We always book a fully serviced pitch which has plenty of space for both your caravan and awning.
Will definitely be booking again very soon.

We have just spent a few nights at this site in a hired campervan. The location was excellent, smashing views of the surrounding countryside, easy walk in to Settle for shops, pubs, restaurants etc. And also easy access for walks around Settle.
The site was well organised and well maintained. Our pitch had plenty of space for both the van and the awning. Showers and toilets always clean.
The staff were always available and particularly helpful when we had a problem with our awning.
We will definitely visit this site again.
