Spent 9 nights at this lovely well kept site. After 7 hours solid rain one day the grass stayed well drained and the toilet block adequately clean. There are only 3 showers in each male and female block but surprisingly we never had to queue. There are indoor washing up facilities and laundry machines. Fantastic play area for kids and a great deal with the zoo. Pay once and get in free for the rest of your stay ! There is a child friendly pub over the road with local beers and ciders, a takeaway / cafe and a Londis shop. There is lots to do in the area, zoo, Bressingham steam museum, Norwich castle and Dinosaur adventure are all within an hours drive. Despite the weather we had a great time and can't wait to return.

Spent a week here, it is a wonderful site with helpful staff. It's toilet blocks are cleaned every day and the showers are hot. We had one of the worse lightening storms that you can imagine whilst there but hey you can't book the weather. It all added to the experience. The zoo was fantastic, pay once then go as many times as you like my children loved it. A two minute walk away is the local shop with everything you'll ever need and nice friendly staff. The takeaway is very reasonably priced for five meals 18 cheap as chips literally. Altogether this site is wonderful plenty to do or just to laze around and relax.

Just spent a weekend here, excellent site, no hard and fast rules regarding pitching, my son had a great time in the play area. Toilet facilities are clean and well maintained.
The zoo was great, well worth a visit. The shop, pub and newly opened take away and restaurant were ideal. All in all a lovely well kept site and would definitely visit again.

Just had 3 nights at this camp site, wonderful. About a 3 minute walk takes you to the Spar shop and friendly pub, try the cider, very reccomended! The toilet/shower blocks are clean, but no where to wash, you either have to shower or nothing. Good facilities for washing dishes and clothes. No noise from the zoo, even though it is just through the trees. Very friendly staff here to help with anything. Hope to return again next year. If you are looking for a good partying camp site then this is not the one for you. Overall a very good, clean and tidy camp site.

A lovely, well-maintained site in peaceful surroundings. The hookup pitches were a good size with no hard-and-fast rules about which way round you pitched your unit. It seemed that tents without hookups could pitch wherever they liked in the central area. We also asked if we could put up our badminton net and that was no problem. The toilet/shower block was immaculate. The showers only stay on for about 7 seconds at a time, but you soon get used to it, and the water was always at a constant hot temperature! We really enjoyed visiting the zoo next door, and went in two days running for no extra cost, so we really felt we'd got our money's worth. The birds of prey displays were superb, we watched three times! We enjoyed a pleasant circular walk around the village, and enjoyed a pint of cider in the pub opposite the zoo. The restaurant appeared to have closed down. We visited the car boot sale on the Sunday morning which was mainly under cover, just as well with the torrential rain we experienced! All in all, would highly recommend this site.

This is a fantastic campsite. We have been there a number of times now and we have never had a bad experience. It is ideal if you want to go to the zoo or if you fancy a bike ride Thetford Forest is not far away. Just outside the campsite (1 minute walk) is a Spar for your bits and pieces and a really good takeaway/restaurant. You can also sample some local cider if the mood takes you. The play area for the kids is great and the trees along the edges make for good dens. The toilets and showers are always clean and tidy. We have been to quite a few different sites and this is almost perfect. They just need to improve the toilets and showers. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with them now but if they made the showers slightly bigger and put some sinks in cubicles it would be absolutely perfect!

Spent a rainy weekend here last year and was impressed then. Spent a beautiful weekend here this time with glorious weather and the sounds of the zoo on the doorstep. Wash blocks fantastically clean. Kids had a great time too. Definitely recommend to anyone except rowdies looking for a heavy night, there's nothing here for you!

We have stayed at this site several times now and love it. The site is located next to Banham Zoo and it's wonderful waking up to the noise of the animals as they receive their morning feed. You pay the zoo entry fee once and can then come and go as you please for the remainder of your stay. Plenty to see and do as well as seeing all the animals which are obviously well cared for: - feeding time, bird of prey display, education centre with face painting etc, soft play area, road train and large playground. Pitches for caravans with electric hookup are laid out around the edges of the site with hedges providing privacy. Tents are pitched on the central grassy area - pitches are not marked so you just pitch where you like. The toilets/showers and dish washing facilities are located in a central block and are cleaned daily (the block is closed for about an hour each day for cleaning which is a little inconvenient) and there is a play area for the children and dog exercising area. The small site shop sells a few caravan accessories. There is a large car boot sale held each Sunday next to the zoo and a small grocery store, restaurant and pub opposite. The nearby town of Diss has shops, fish and chips, swimming pool etc.

Clean and friendly site right next to the zoo - very exotic animal noises over night! Plenty of toilets, and 3 showers each for men and women with free hot water. If you stay overnight on Saturday, there is a big car boot sale right next door on Sunday morning - great bacon butties, saves getting any pots and pans dirty!

A lovely Quiet site with good basic amenities. The showers and toilets are clean and warm We pitched in the H field, which was away from the entrance and completely safe for the little ones to have fun. The kids play area was nicely maintained. It was nice to wake up to the sound of the sea lion and donkeys? A pleasant first visit with a definite return. Not a place to go if you want noise and all action and the added bonus of a good size booty on Sunday. Pay to enter the zoo once and return as many times a you like throughout your stay.
