 Just returned from Grondre Vale.
Lovely site with good facilities, which are in the process of improving since being taken over by the Vale Group.  Nice heated outdoor pool, small clubhouse with entertainment 2/3 times a week, shop in reception area, helpful friendly staff, new toilets and shower block and well maintained grounds.  Spar shop in the next village about a mile away. Small play area suitable for younger children. Quiet site situated close to the lovely town of Narberth with its good selection of gift shops, cafe and restaurants, clothes shops. 15 minute drive away from Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Had a great holiday and would definitely return again and recommend to friends.

We went away last weekend, after visiting this site last year
Must say they have improved this site and are still improving.
the toilet and shower block was immaculate.
we were the only tent pitched on the field, but we were very welcome.
It was very quiet but just what we needed to get away from it all.
The outside pool was heated, and my son went swimming

They are improving this site all the time so there is some building work going on.

Not sure if they have any plans  to update the outside washing facilities, but they were the same as last year.
We paid £12 for the one night with electric , a bargain
well worth a visit.
A fab place and base for you to explore the rest of West Wales
will be going back again

Camped here for first two weeks of August. The weather was good in the first ten days which gave us the chance to enjoy the beaches and theme parks  in the area. The site itself is well situated to reach all the tourist spots, twenty minutes from Tenby, less to Oakwood, Heatherton and Folly Farm, which are good value. The attractive town of Narberth is five minutes drive and has two good butchers, fruit shop, medium size supermarkets and takeaways.
The site itself has just been taken over and the new people are friendly, they have a lot of work going on and I would guess that the place will look even better in a years time. The downside is that they ran out of water to the showers and toilets on at least three evenings, which is a bit of a disaster when you are covered in sun-tan lotion and sand.
The pool area is under development as well which ruins the ambiance slightly. The small club and arcade area has a good feel to it, partly due to Bob the bar manager who is a great character. All the other campers we met were friendly too, in fact that goes for every person we had dealings with in the shops and pubs too, which was nice.
The showers and toilets are the best portakabins you have ever seen, putting most brick built facilities to shame.

Good points:
Nice little pool and friendly club.
Decent toilets.
Great location.

Bad points:
Dish-washing area up against an old mouldy wall.
Dish-washing area right next to the open non-flushing toilet disposal point.
Unreliable water supply.

In conclusion:
For £15 at peak season the good points far outweigh the bad. Would go there again had we not 'done' Tenby too many times.

First time camping. Booked this campsite after seeing it on here. The campsite was very clean, the toilets and showers were porta cabins, very clean. The outside pool was very cold, and also the facilities to wash the dishes, there was no hot water either but according to the owners they were waiting for a part for the boiler.

There is a small club house, which would get very packed in the height of the summer season I should imagine. They also do food there, typical burgers and chips sort of thing.

We really did enjoy our first camping trip, and I know that the campsite, the facilities are being improved and there is some building work going on. Would go back there.  8/10

Visited for a 4 night break in a tent with electricity costing £15 per night.

Situated less than 1/2 mile off the A40, just up the road to Clunderwen is a Spar and petrol station.
Narbeth with it's banks, butchers and shops only a few miles away. Oakwood and Folly farm just down the road. Ideal location for sight seeing.

The reception for touring is round the corner from the manor house, after all the static caravans. We did think we had the wrong place as there was no sign of a reception. When you find the reception, there's also a bar / lounge (Serving meals lunchtime and evening), very modern washing machine (£2)and tumble dryer ( 20p for 15mins), swimming pool and small arcade area. Further round is the covered washing up facilities and the toilet disposal.
Bit further on past the children's play area (which is fenced off) are the toilet and free shower facilities. There are both male and female blocks as well as 2 family shower/ toilet blocks which had 1 shower and 1 loo each.  Although they are portacabins they are the most modern and up to date I've seen. Do take your own loo roll on busy bank holidays!

The field in front is for caravans and tents, it has a slope, some places more sloping than others. Part has a road / track but further up where it levelled off slightly was just a field (and after the amount of rain and the fact that the electrician was still working on the newly installed electrics when we arrived) the track soon turned into a bog.

Great view and south facing but was a bit windy when we were there and many gazebo's didn't last long ours included!

The site was being worked on whilst we were there and did need finishing off in places, but from what has been done so far will all be of a high standard

Every where very clean, toilet blocks cleaned every morning and a Quad with trailer came round every morning to pick up rubbish.

We would go again but not on a bank holiday weekend.

We did have power cuts but these were apparently being caused by over loading of the new system by halogen heaters! Teething problems I'm sure!

Cracking location about a mile outside Narberth and only a short drive from Tenby and Saundersfoot. Quiet location with touring field well away from the main road.

Small outdoor pool and club with arcade. Park for the younger kiddies. Portakabin type toilets (but modern). Pitches slightly sloping but spacious. No camp shop, but Spar only 1/2 mile from site entrance.

Nice wooded views and owners are so laid back they are horizontal!!!

Had a great bank holiday weekend, and the sun was out. We will use this one again.
