Our stay was delayed due to an illness in the family but this was no problem with the owners and very graciously refunded us. We managed to stay for 3 nights and wished it could be longer. Didn't need to leave the site at all, our children aged 6 and 10 had a ball. Swimming pool excellent, clean and warm. The clubhouse was immaculate and had plenty for children of all ages. Did get busy, although after a short wait we got a table. Toilet blocks were the best I have ever seen, really warm and spotlessly clean. The field for the tents did have a slight incline and was a bit boggy in the centre due to horrendous weather. Managed a quick visit to the bee farm which was interesting. We plan to go back for a longer stay as lots in the area we did not get to do. In short Fab site all round !

We have stayed at this site twice. We have stayed in a large family group age ranges 3-65yrs. The site is probably our favourite. Toilets and Showers are always warm and clean and well lit at night. The facilities are excellent and the children and parents love the indoor swimming pool which is always warm, clean and safe to use. The children's play areas are kept tidy and the football field is a must for our sons and their fathers, the family football competitions are always well attended. The fish shop has lovely food and I can recommend their chicken burgers. The security on site is very good and any disturbances are dealt with immediatley in a friendly manner. I feel safe use the toilet facilities at night. We will definatley be coming back next year for a week.

We paid a weeks visit to Pencnwc Holiday Park to find the site quite empty, but going by the amount of rain the UK has suffered this year, l would say this put people off because the site and staff are brilliant. There was 8 of us that went and we took 2 tents ages ranged 41 to 11 months. Upon arrival we were given the choice of the main field or a small one and were told the smaller one tends to be quieter than the main field as we had a 12 month baby with us, we went for the quieter pitch. When we got there the was only 4 other tents so there was plenty of space for all of us and after a couple of days they left and virtually we had the field to ourselves. The facilities are second to none. Water tap was very handy and the toilets very near which were kept spotless and showers were hot all day no matter what time you went. There is plenty of wash basins (5) and plenty of showers (5) and did not have to queue at all, but keep in mind what has been said in the 1st paragraph. There is a club house which lays on events during the day for family entertainment in the form of football, cricket, rounders etc and during the evening there is always entertainment laid on. Monday, Wednesday and Friday there was entertainment brought in, whilst all other evening entertainment was laid on by the evening staff and kept us all entertained with silly competitions and singing. There is an indoor swimming pool, but we never managed to get round to going in, but looked just like the photies on their website. There is a camp shop which sells the basics and is not that overpriced, but just outside the camp there is a full Grocery shop and is a pleasant short walk. Around the camp itself there is not much in the way of walking to any place so a car is a must as New Quay itself is about 5 miles away and would not like to walk it personally myself, quite steep hills. Would I go back, in a flash my teenage daughters 14 & 16 wanted to stay another week, so could not be too bad if teenagers want to stay. Seriously think of going here, you wont be disappointed.

Recently returned from here and will definitely go again! It was a lovely site with a friendly atmosphere and free ice block freezing was a bonus! 50p per person over 5 to go in the pool which seems a bit off given that you are paying £21 a night but you could stay in til it closed. The kids loved the space to play and the park along with the swimming pool. Showers were free and hot although you do have to keep pressing a button. Although there is an army of staff keeping the grounds and loos nice I do feel they could clean loo block more often although pretty clean a couple of times the loos were blocked presumably by kids or adults who don't know how to flush a loo and throw copious amounts of loo paper down them! We were pitched on a fairly level area although there is a dip. Found that the local pub served very nice sunday dinner at £5.95 per adult and £3.50 per kid and within walking distance from the site. Honey farm was lovely and worth a visit. Didn't go to the entertainment so can't comment but the chip shop chips were lovely! Laundrette on site was £1.40 per wash and then 20p for 10 mins drying.Take your own washing tablets/powder though I forgot and had to buy a box from the shop rather than individual wash powder boxes. All in all a big hit and am thinking of going back at the end of aug.

We were there for a week with our little one, aged 4. The site was very busy but the loos and pool were all extremely clean and I only had to wait a short time for a shower. We were surprised how little noise we could hear from the clubhouse. The location of the site gave us access to some lovely beaches and the honey farm was very near. New Quay itself was gorgeous, with boat tripsand a couple of beaches. Nearby Aberaeron was lovely too with an interesting harbour (great for crab catching) and award winning restaurant. A couple of the nights, especially the weekends we had some loud families next to us who were noisy with music or really drunk (well after midnight), but as it was weekends in August I wasnt surprised. Take a washing up bowl though cos there is a real lack of plugs in the washing up area!

This is a great site, toilets and showers were lovely and clean. I went with 2 teenagers and a 10 year old all loved it. Staff were great and there were two bars so you could sit where the entertainment was or sit in a quieter bar which was great. Shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. Son loved the fishing and spent many hours there. Pitch was flat and we had 3 fields to choose from. The bins were empty regular and you could see lots of staff about all day and night!. Will go back again and would highly recommed this site

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's got everything that a full on holiday camp, like Haven, would have, but on a smaller scale. Toilets are very modern and spotlessly clean. Clubhouse/Bar is quite small, taking into account how big the site is, but we didn't have a problem getting a seat. It's about 5 minutes drive from New Quay. It's also got a shop and fish & Chip shop and amusements area. Not the cheapest site we've been to, but it's got a lot for the money

What a fantastic site this is. It has fantastic facilities for my kids with age ranges from one to ten Years. It is the cleanest site and immaculate shower block which is cleaned many times a day. Hot FREE Showers. It has a new clubhouse which again is very clean with quality entertainment each weekend night. We decided after a short stay to pitch for the whole season after trawling around many a site nothing compared to this site in quality. I would recommend to all without any hesitation. An added bonus is a short drive away you have the very pretty, clean beach in Newquay. To sum up in a few words I would say, CLEAN FRIENDLY and EXTREMELY WELL RUN.

Pencnwc is a great site. We've had several weekends at the site, the toilet and shower blocks are clean and modern and the staff are great. I have a 6 year old boy who loves yhe indoor pool, playgrounds and Merlin the dragon. The clubhouse has been totally revamped this year and to a high standard. We will return. Only one complaint, there aren't any hook ups for tents, which is a drag, especially when not all the hook up are being used.

Excellent site in every way. The swimming pool was great as was the clubhouse and entertainment. Camp shop was very reasonably priced. My personal highlight was the red kite that came down to try and grab something from someones picnic table. All set in a beautiful part of the country.
