Very attractive site near Dunbar, which is lovely. Previous reviews spot on, v. hard ground, totally daft time to clean toilets! kids bursting at 8.30 one wee toilet we had to talk the cleaner in to letting us use while she did her job! Lots of disgruntled people needing a wash hanging around waiting till all was clean! Lots of entertainment and a kids/family entertainment club separate from the main club (if you want to be segregated with your children you may like this set up!) We would rather have used the main club which was really large and looked good fun!

I must admit that we were disappointed in this site. It has to be the most expensive site that I've stayed on (£20 for a tent pitch) so I expected big things.

The pitches are rock hard and I bent many a peg trying to put up the tent, the shop sells pegs at 50p EACH! , So they must be aware of the problem and cashing in on it! Saying that, the pitch was quite large with lots of room for our stuff.

There is only 1 sink for washing up! With over 100 pitches, I think that this is pretty unacceptable. Also there was only 2 showers, which after a half-hour wait, were freezing, which my 3-year-old did not appreciate!

The noise from the social club goes on until 11:30 and then the kids move on to the play area!

One of the highlights of the weekend was watching someone pouring their toilet waste down the drain at the drinking water tap during breakfast! He did say good morning before he rinsed it out. Very nice. At least the others left it till we had eaten. Surely this isn't hygienic?

Visited this site in tents with 6 adults and 5 kids aged between 6 and 10 years(thats the kids not the adults) :-). Had a great time, listed below pros and cons.

Pros
Very clean facilities i.e leisure(pool) facilities/toilet block and the camp site in general.
Kids play area well maintained/they have their own indoor dedicated bar area with arcade style machines and minature pool tables.
Large grass area for football ect.
Well stocked shop.

Cons
Ground extremley hard for tent pegs, take extra strong ones.
Shower area a bit cramped.
Only one sink for washing up.

Excellent site and highly recommend especially for famlies. Will definatley return.

An excellent site. Lots for the whole family on site. Swimming, sauna, jaccuzi, steam room and gym. Shop sells most things that you would need (watch out for the vast amount of toys as you enter though!!)Four function rooms, at least two of which allows kids, one with pool tables. The only fault with this site was the timing of the toilet cleaning (8.30am) but showers and toilet facilities were good.
