Just returned from a long weekend at this site. The owner is very helpful and informative. The site seems fairly relaxed and the rules are unrestrictive.
The site is approached down a un-metalled track which is a bit rutted in places but otherwise OK.
The facilities are clean, well presented and very good considering the size of the site. The showers are OK, operated by a token system. Tokens are bought from the owner at a £1 per token.
If I have 1 criticism of this site, this is it; a £1 per 6 minute shower is a bit extortionate. The rate on most sites I visit is either free or 20p/3 mins!
There are no shops locally so transport is essential. There is a good supermarket about 10 minutes up the road. The nearest Pub is about a 20 minute walk.
Overall this is a great little site, and we will visit it again soon

8 adults and lots of dogs ! = Just got back from a lovely bank holiday weekend here. Lovely area and lots to do in surrounding area.
We had 3 dogs with us so didn't venture out a great deal, this site is a dog walking heaven from short walks to very long ones.
We went along to the next village and got the steam train to Wroxham and back (dogs and all!)
The owner and staff were all very welcoming and even gave us a big banqueting bench to use. We will definitely return.

Just had two nights at Top Farm, the owner was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The site provided a great base for visiting Cromer and Sheringham, each only being half hour drive away. Gorgeous views all around and the sunset is fantastic.
Great washing facilities, the toilets were adequate, four toilets in the female block, it was £1 for 6 mins for showers, we've had better value on other sites, having 5 in our party made this a bit expensive if we wanted to shower daily and showers were a bit cobwebbed, which upset my children slightly.
We were on the tent field which is away from the service blocks so there's a bit of a walk through the field for the kids desperate for the loo in the night. We noticed a lot of insects around the tent as the tent area is literally in a field, we also woke up to two mole hills at the entrance of the tent on our second morning.
The farm buildings and gardens are really pretty and well kept and there's a lovely tree house in the owner's tree, perhaps in future some play equipment for younger visitors would be an idea. Although there isn't any facilities for children, the site was definitely child friendly.
Worth noting the site has a 'Quiet after 10pm rule' so would not be suitable for those wanting a more upbeat holiday.

This site is situated in rolling countryside about twelve miles inland from the north Norfolk coast. It is about a mile down a country lane after the village, then a further half mile down a gravel farm track to the site. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Most of the caravans on site appeared to be seasonal tourers. The tent field is situated round the back in a flat field with a modern large outbuilding, and quite a bit of farm junk making it a little untidy, but it is a farm, but worth mentioning to the purists.
The toilet block was modern, with two showers in a separate building. The showers were operated by tokens purchased from the owners £1 for six minutes, which were lovely and hot. There were two pot washing sinks with ample free hot water. There is a good dog walk through the owners land. The price was very reasonable as well at £12 per night. The only negative, the mens toilets were dirty when we arrived and weren't cleaned until the day we left, but cleaning solution was supplied in the toilets so I cleaned them myself.
I must stress though my wife said the ladies were clean and so was the disabled toilet.

Great place to spend a week, good clean facilities, 2 showers, token operated giving you 6 minutes of hot water, great views and great place for walking and spotting wildlife. We were based on the caravan site, which was quite, and the people who were staying there were very pleasant. Great place as a base, Cromer, Norfolk Broads, Great Yarmouth all very near by. Owners are very pleasant and go out of there way to assist you. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Previous reviewers have listed all the advantages of this site. I would only add that there is a Tesco in Aylsham about 4 miles up the road. There is also a pub within walking distance at the edge of the village. Can't recommend it as we didn't eat there.
Walk through the farm, along the side of the caravan field and emerge onto heathland with masses of wildlife. We saw the biggest rabbits ever!
My only criticism came on the last night when there were only two tents in the field. Us, of course, and a family a few yards away. Two young couples turned up and were told to pitch between us. It really was a bit of a squash and, although the youngsters were lovely, a bit unpleasant for all of us. We were leaving the next morning and so were the family, but the owner of the site gave no explanation for his decision.

Very quiet, rural setting but within easy reach of Cromer, Sheringham, Aylsham and North Walsham. We were not on the tent field but had a lovely pitch at the edge of the main site which had mainly touring caravans. Clean, well kept facilities - showers were £1 for approx. 6 minutes. Washing up facility good. No play area. There were very few children when we visited and generally the site was extremely quiet. Very level pitches and friendly staff. We will be back!

We visited this site for a week . We arrived and got a warm welcome by the owner. We were shown to our pitch which was in a beautiful position for watching the sunset.
The toilet block is very clean and the showers are clean . The site is very rural and peaceful.
There were a few children around but were all well behaved. The field is well kept and is quite busy. This is a fantastic site for a holiday base because the nearby town of cromer is only a 20 min drive away. Lovely holiday and will definitely be returning next year.

Nice site but we phoned the day before and he charged us extra (more than for a caravan) because our tent was big! He wasnt busy so there was plenty of room and we were able to pitch within a large area.
We thought £1 per shower was a bit steep but I guess it goes towards the upkeep of the site.
However the site was well kept and we did get an EHU (for an extra charge!) but we only stayed a night to air out our tent.
It was a shame that we were woken at the crack of dawn by screaming shouting children but hey that's why there are adult only sites :)
Very nice chap and lovely views from the site. Great if you want a quiet break and use it as a base.

Decided last minute to have a weekend away with the weather being so nice. Despite the lack of reviews of this campsite, we decided to give it a try. Stayed for one night. Owners were very helpful, meeting us on arrival to show us where to pitch. The site is quite small with lots of caravans so I don't think there would be room for lots of tents but there were only 2 tents in our party so it was fine, we were able to pitch were we wanted in a given area so we had lots of room. New toilet block with hair dryer and baby change facilities, which were well kept. Only 2 showers, reasonably clean and a token needed (£1 for about 5/6 minutes) hot water and pressure good. Local amenities a little too far to walk to but amazing views and large picnic benches centrally located for campers to use on site. Decent washing up area and no charge for water here. Central for Cromer (yummy fish and chips on the sea front and visit Waverley's cake shop in the town, the cake slices are huge!) and a visit to Norwich. We would definitely return to this site.
