The campsite was lovely, beautiful surroundings and the Dirty Duck Pub served great food and was friendly and inviting. We were visiting Belvoir castle so the location was nice and close.
The toilets and showers etc. Were cleaned regularly and the shower was instant hot water which was perfect. The pitch for our tent was nice and flat and the campsite was tidy and well organised.
We were spoilt as we had the place to ourselves during the week but at the weekend a 40th birthday party large gathering arrived and was extremely noisy, lots of screaming and shouting in the early hours and loud music playing.
The other weekend campers; 2 more large family groups with children and dogs were fantastic though and very considerate quietening down by 9ish and just sitting by their fires with low music and chattering amongst themselves.
I would definitely recommend this campsite and stay again.

We arrived and were surprised that there was nobody there to show us where to go, we left a voicemail for the campsite manager as we had been given the number but nobody called us back. So we found one of two remaining pitches with electric and set up there.
Toilets fairly clean, had loo roll and soap.
Nice location though and nice to have the pub next door.

We had a lovely little stay at the Dirty duck. Good value, shame the park wasn’t open for the kids. But corona 🙄 Thank you 🙏
The campsite was quite busy when we arrived and the toilets did need an extra clean and loo roll but we managed okay.

Brilliant stay at the Dirty Duck Campsite. Easy access, good size pitches and very good facilities.
Toilet and shower block cleaned regularly.
Very handy also having the Dirty Duck pub and restaurant on site for excellent food and drinks.
A very pleasant long weekend we had and will certainly be back again.

Lovely little site with good facilities and the pub itself does fabulous food at great prices.
Great walks in the countryside along the canal.
Well worth a visit; I’ve stayed there a few times and will continue to go.
Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

It was a lovely peaceful place to visit for some much needed quiet time. Able to pick on pitch for tent. Had amenities close by.
Only downside the pub close by stopped serving food really early.

The dirty duck camp site in Belvvior.
We had a lovely weekend with friends. The ground was good for the tent pegs,
Toilet/shower blocks were clean but old so as the day went on with the full site they got a bit mucky but no more than any other site I have been on.
The staff on the phone were helpful and let us set up early. We are booking again

We booked 4 plots for 4 tents for the weekend, they were good enough to let us set up on the Thursday night as the weather was going to be bad on the Friday, so we arrived on the Friday,
Toilets and showers were a little dated but sparkling clean with plenty of toilet rolls, plenty of hand washing soap and hand towels.
We went in the pub on the Friday night for a meal as the weather was so bad, food was good.
On the Saturday we had a great day and night sat around our tents having a bar-b-q.
Had a really good weekend and would definitely go again.

The shower and toilet facilities on this campsite were disgusting! I'm not too fussy and aware camping toilets aren't spotless but these were awful. The bin hadnt been changed for a few days and was overflowing all onto the floor. The walls were smeared with dirt or poo.
The floor was filthy. The owners were contacting by other campers and nothing was done for the 3 days we were there. There was noone around at all, we could have camped for free. I've emailed them regarding this with photos and been completely ignored.
It's a shame as it's a nice spot and this ruined it.
Also lots of mosquitoes so take your repellent.
