What a joy it was to stay here. The atmosphere was very relaxing and Kathy & Dave were fantastic hosts.
Pitch sizes are very good and the toilet / washing facilities are clean and tidy
Supermarkets aren't too far away but we liked the fact that with Kathy and Dave's help you can dip into French country life - local butcher, local baker, no candlestick maker but an excellent local restaurant and vineyard and at the time we went a number of festivals which were great.
If you want peace and quiet in a great setting with freedom to do as you please then this is an excellent site. We plan to return as soon as we can arrange for the kids to be away.

Just got back from a lovely stay with Kathy and Dave and although we were only there one night (not their biggest earners) they treated us to first class hospitality. The site is quiet, clean, has a lovely kitchen shower toilet setup and is ideal for tenters and caravaners. The other campers on the site were very friendly and were there for weeks so short and long stays seem to work.Kathy said that they would come with us and show us their local restaurant if they had notice - so roll on next year.

My first stay at this site & I will definitely be going back, it is a beautiful little site & Kathy & Dave are very helpful. We were Introduced to the locals in K&D's garage bar & had great time.
The local vineyard is only up the road & the wine is good & inexpensive.
The local restaurant does a cracking deal for 11 euros and some local shops are available.
The toilet block is clean & well maintained.
If want to meet nice people and relax this is the place to go.

Very friendly welcome, camping in small apple orchard which made for a very friendly atmosphere amongst the campers. Facilities are very clean and have a lovely 'homely' feeling. Site in beautiful open countryside next to sunflower fields just outside a typically Loire village.
On the first evening I was there, an impromptu games of Boules was organised between the Brit campers & the local French villagers, the French took an early lead & the game was ended early when the Brits got the hang of it and started to catch up with the locals and they were worried they might lose. How very French :).

This was our first visit to Kathy and Dave's campsite and made for a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The site is quiet, well kept and the facilities are excellent. The area is ideal for exploring vineyards and beautiful chateaux. We stayed for two and a half weeks and during that time nothing was too much trouble for Kathy and Dave. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the wine tasting trips and visits to local restaurants that Kathy and Dave invited the campers to. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday here and have booked again for next year. We can’t wait to return.

Our first visit, and like all previous reviews of this site, we were made to feel very welcome. The site is in a lovely location , well placed for touring the Loire region, or just lazing in the sun in a peaceful rural setting. Kathy and Dave invited guests to a local wine producer to taste the produce, a lunch-time meal in a lovely roadside restuarant, barbecues and an eveing of fun in their small bar in the basement of the house. All their hospitality made this a memorable stay and a site we want to return to on our future trips to France. Now that are children are grown up this was our first time on a small site, without all the facilities to be found on the large, more expensive sites. We were delighted with the high quality facilities that Kathy and Dave provide for their campers; electric hook-up, a modern and clean bathroom and large kitchen and dining area if the weather is bad. An excellent, value for money, site.

This year was our fourth visit to Kathy and Dave and once again we were made very welcome. It is a super little site 20 mins walk from local bakers or 10 mins on a bike. On a previous visit we hired a car very reasonably from local SuperU to do the Loire sights and this year Kathy told us they had purchased a little car for the use of Motorhomers like us (for a small fee) great idea!
Kathy and Dave go all out to make your stay a memorable one.

We spent two weeks at Kathy & Dave's campsite. On arrival we were just another camper, by the time we left we were a member of the family. Kathy and Dave's site is on the edge of a village with open views across open farm land. With vine yards, a zoo and markets to explore this is a great site to go and unwind. Preferably this site is for adults only.
On site you have the use of a kitchen a long with a toilet and shower next door. The site is set in an orchard next to Kathy & Dave's house. You do need to use your car as the local shops are away from the site.

August 2004 This small site far surpassed our expectations in both location and price. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as though we were part of the family. Barbeques are available and with a vinyard close by eating alfresco is the norm as well as an entertaining game of boules. This is not a site for families with children, but more for the mature campers looking for peace and tranquility. Pre booking is advised and take a packet of Digestive Biscuits for Dave.
This site is most definately A+++
