 We visited this site on 27th - 28th may.
My family consists of myself, my husband and our 3 boys aged 2, 7 and 12 yrs and not forgetting our dog.
We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
The lack of facilities there wasn't a problem for us. We just went prepared with our port a loo and what ever else we needed. Its a lovely place for walking and our dog loved the walks there. One of our favourite things there were the cows, They were so friendly, and walked beside us while we were walking the dog.( the cows were in a field fenced off).The staff were polite and the site was very clean as well.
On approach to this site the roads are very narrow. Caravans do fit through at a squeeze, And there were a lot of caravans at this site, so the squeeze didn't put them off. Well worth a visit. We will definitely visit this site again.

This is a very good site if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle, the site managers were very helpful on our arrival and we had a great pitch. You will need plenty of chocks as this is an all sloping site. The lane that leads to the site from Youlgreave is very narrow with plenty of parked cars but we had no trouble in getting our 19ft van down there. There was a small park for the Kids to play and the dog walk was large and away from the caravans. The village about 1 1/2 down lanes has plenty of Pubs (5 I think) and there is a shop and post office for the everyday things. One thing to note if you like to watch TV then you might struggle as you are surounded by hills we couldnt even get a fuzzy picture. Would recommend this site if its peace and quiet you are after as the site went deadly quiet after 10.30pm and that was over the Bank Holiday.
