A lovely adult only park with lovely owners and staff. Reception is very informative and friendly. The shower block was spotless and with under floor heating, was always a joy to use. The park to was immaculate and the pitches were great. The park has a slight slope from top to bottom to aid drainage of the pitches ( so no puddles etc to step into ) but levelling up is easy.
A coffee shop is to open in the very near future with free wifi which is great.
Its nice to stay at a park that takes pride in its customer service and appearance.
Only one mile walk into Wells that is full of many independent traders, the beautiful cathedral and Bishops Palace and even a bus stop right outside that takes you to Glastonbury, Weston S M etc
And only a stones throw from Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge
A top class visit that we will certainly visit again and again.

Checked the weather forecast, looked good so thought we would try our first trip of the year, and what a good choice everything about this site was excellent, facilities were clean and warm, think the shop was being rebuilt but we only stayed for 2 days. Walked into Wells, lovely city, beautiful cathedral well worth a visit. We were given a few leaflets about local amenities but didn't get chance to use them, maybe next time. If it's of interest Wookey Hole is only a 20 minute walk, again maybe next time.

Spent a couple of nights here over a weekend.
On arrival reception was closed but we'd been given the barrier code and our pitch number so just went on in. We needed chocks to level up on the tarmac pitch we were given. The facilities were kept clean over the stay.
There was a bit of road noise from the main road at the front of the site and a B road at the back. The site in general was well kept with a good recycling point, I did think it was a bit pricey though.
I thought the site was fine for a couple of night stay out of season to visit Wells, but not one I'd want to stay longer at.

We've just had 3 wonderful days on this park and were very fortunate with the weather (just prior to storm 'Barney' coming in.
The facilities were first class, lovely and warm (underfloor heating?), although the plunger showers were a bit short-lived.
We managed two good cycle rides, over to Westhay and Mark for lunch at the Cider Farm and the following day across Shapwick Fen and round to Glastonbury. There are some lovely, flat, quiet lanes, with a few nice lumpy bits around too.
We walked into Wells each evening (20 minutes) and had great food in the Globe Inn on 2 nights and also very tasty fare in the Crown Hotel. It poured down whilst we were in the Crown and the receptionist rang for a taxi for us. Very nice chap from Cathedral taxis, ferried us back.
I must also praise the two receptionists we met, on arrival and departure; both very friendly and extremely helpful.
Top site!

Very impressed with the friendliness and conditions of this site and agree with previous comments that it is more a touring park than holiday park. Had a nice level hard standing pitch near toilet block at a cost of £21/night for three. We used the hourly bus service to Wells and walked back later, taxis are another option. For those with free bus passes, buses from Wells can be caught to Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury plus other destinations.

Excellent site very clean and tidy the shower block was kept very clean. The location of the site is good just 20 minutes walk into Wells which is a beautiful city nice shops. Close to Glastonbury ideal stopping off site when travelling north or south. Its also just about a mile from Wookey Hole. It is on a main road but you can hear the traffic at all. The views across the valley are spectacular. We will certainly return to this site

The site is immaculately maintained and is very quiet and peaceful. Part of the site appears to be a retirement home area. So if its chill out time your looking for this is the place to be.
I'm a bit confused by the 'Holiday' aspect of the Park as I would say this is a place to stay whilst touring the area. As there is no shop, pool or club on site. Bearing that in mind the price per pitch is a little steep. Considering it's the same price as a proper holiday centre.
The facilities that are here the 'toilet block' are extremely clean and well presented. Our pitch was flat. Well located and protected by the wind by a huge hedge. And as such provided a very safe and comfortable environment.
The walk into town is about 30 mins initially up hill. We did this twice and after that used Taxi's. The City of Wells is an outstanding example of historical architecture with so many wonderful examples to view. Especially the Cathedral.
I would highly recommend this site for anyone who wants a total chill out. And I would pop in here again when visiting this area.

Very well maintained site, with very good facilities and a nice view. 20 minutes walk into the centre of town (nicest along the old railway track). Both the site and Wells were lovely and we will return - we were there on the Saturday market day and it was bustling in the centre of the city. Note it is an adult only site - ok for us now!

Site is within walking distance of the beautiful city of Wells. Cheddar gorge and caves and Wookey Hole are a short drive away.
We were greeted at reception where we were given directions to our pitch and given a map of Wells and Glastonbury and a map of the site showing all the facilities locations. It was all very professional.
We were pitched in field 1, which is all grass and mostly level where we were. You cannot park by your unit in this field but after unloading must park in the parking area. This is a very short walk from all pitches so is not a problem. EHU is 16amp. The facilities are located in the next field and are excellent. Ladies and Gents contain free showers, vanity rooms as well as the usual communal sinks, cubicles etc. The building is kept spotless and also has under floor heating! There are sockets in the ladies for hairdryers (20p charge) and shaver points in the gents. Outside are 4 washing up sinks and 2 black water disposal points. The water for the washing up sinks wasn't hot enough for greasy pans, but we took a kettle of hot water with us.
The site was quiet and peaceful. While we were there the skies were filled with swallows and house martins. Lovely to watch over a glass of wine in the evenings.
We didn't use the Wifi as it's charged, and to us seemed very expensive.
TV reception is excellent as the mast is on the hill overlooking the site.
Highly recommend this site for any adults looking to explore the local area.
PS. If you don't fancy cooking you can order a take away that is delivered to your pitch!

Just had 3 nights at this site, the reception staff were excellent explained everything even when we had a problem they sorted it out quickly and efficiently.
On site shop but we never used it or even looked in.
Toilet and shower facilities excellent toilets and showers clean and modern.
Had 3 washing up sinks undercover.
Black waste also very clean and easy to use.
Environment tidy grass mowed etc.
Pitch size was also good not to close to your neighbours.
We walked in to Wells a good easy walk just over a mile but all on footpaths there is a bus stop right outside the site and a very good taxi service.
There is a local takeaway that delivers to your pitch (George's Place) a takeaway menu is given to you by the reception staff. We used this the food came quickly and was hot and good for takeaway food.
Will we return Yes we will and soon so much to see and do in the area
