Stayed for one night but wish it was longer
An immaculately kept campsite just outside wells about 15 min walk
A lot of pitches you would need levelling blocks but not a major issue
We were on hard standing but felt spacious and not too crammed in
Immaculate toilet block and laundry facilities
A cafe bar on site which was open until 6
On our visit and a lovely place to chill with a beer
We loved this site and would return when back on the area

This is one of our favourite sites and we visit regularly. Easy access off the A371, directions available on their website.
It is a 20 minute walk along pavements to Wells and it is definitely worth visiting. England's smallest city has a lot of pubs, cafe's and attractions on offer with the cathedral being the main one.
Wells Touring Park has recently undergone a refurbishment and has a new Cafe/Bar which is excellent but worth noting card payment only.
The reception has also been upgraded and there are now more mobile homes on the site.
The games room has been converted to a cottage. Overall the site looks a lot better for the changes. The facilities are excellent and as usual kept very clean.
Most of the pitches are hardstanding of which some are full service pitches. More than likely you will need levelling blocks. For motorhomes there is a Motorhome Service Point near the entrance.
Overall another very nice stay at this lovely site which we would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Lovely friendly, clean site within a 20 min walk to Wells City Centre. Easy access from M5 or A36.
Food was for sale on the Friday and Saturday night and bacon rolls on Sunday morning.
There is a small cafe/bar with a good selection of drinks available.
Recommended.

Beautifully kept site with the friendliest wardens I've met in a long time.
The small Bar on site serves a selection of beers wines and spirits and also various Coffee's.
The site boasts outdoors catering which was serving fish and chips on Friday evening and also Pizza on Saturday evening, not forgetting the Breakfast Baps on Sunday Morning.
The City of Wells is easily within walking distance or there is a bus stop outside the site.
The WC amenities were spotless and heated.
There is even a toilet area for your fur babies if you have one,
We visited the site so we could attend the Wells Victorian Christmas Market, I'm so glad I stayed because I will definitely return here.

Lovely, peaceful adults only, dog friendly site within easy walk to Wells and all its delights.
Easy, friendly check in (had pre-paid in full before arrival) and plenty of information given regarding pitch, facilities and food/drink, etc.
Well looked after pitches and grounds and spotless facilities with piped music. Laundry and washing up (covered) area too, oh and a book exchange (red phone box).
The only reason I've marked it down to 9/10 is that the pitches are very sloping. We were on pitch 6 (close to the toilet block) and we only carry one set of levellers (never needed two before!) and found it very difficult to get level. However, the very kind owner(s) let us borrow a third leveller and it helped.
Lovely views from the top part of the site (better than where we were).
Cafe/bar on site, selling coffees/cakes, etc and alcohol in the evenings. Food waggon on site, selling breakfast baps (weekends only I think?), and food options in the evenings. Nice place to sit outside if dry or inside if not. **card payments only in the cafe/bar**.
Easy walk (30-40 minute mooch) into Wells. Great Saturday market (and Wednesday I believe?), cathedral, Bishops Palace gardens, etc. , and plenty of places to eat/drink.
Bus stop right outside the site if unable to walk, or if it rains on the way back!

Fantastic site, Spotless facilities and a good pot washing area.
Lovely little cafe to get coffee and homemade cake, and also a glass of wine etc.
Lovely friendly staff, this was our second visit and we will definitely be back.
A nice easy walk into Wells footpath all the way, and a good bus service, we only went to Cheddar.

Decided to book a weekend stay (2 nights) in one of the chalets on this adult only campsite. They have 4 chalets at the entrance to the park.
We were pleasantly surprised with our chalet. It was very clean and well laid out for a small 1 bedroom unit. The large bed was really comfortable and we both slept very well.
The kitchen was well equipped although one thing we would have liked was a ladle or large serving spoon.
We had initially booked for 2 nights but extended our stay for a further night allowing us a nice lazy Sunday. We also visited the on site cafe/bar where you can also take your dog into.
Lovely, relaxing surroundings and I would imagine the outside area would be lovely in better and warmer weather!
We had a brief stroll around the park to have a look at touring pitches as we definitely intend to return in warmer weather in our campervan.
Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Very good site with excellent facilities, the best of the 5 we stayed on during our recent holiday.
Very clean and surprisingly quiet at night, despite there being a group of young lads staying a few pitches up and another group who were drinking outside on their pitch.
Absolutely no noise after 10. 00 pm at all, so thanks to all of you for your consideration.
Easy walk into Wells, which is a great small historic city to visit and would recommend staying here and visiting Wells. Would certainly merit a few days.

Well WOW, what a site, so clean and tidy, they've thought of everything from croquet on the green by the small bar to a clothes only washing sink by the washing up area.
We had pitch 26, elevated with good views. Good access with an entry barrier that needs a code to enter. Small bar next to reception, closed at 6pm. Adults only site but not stuffy or marred with rules and regs.
We cycled into Wells, lovely city to explore. Drove to Cheddar with bikes and then cycled the Strawberry line route, good route, flat with a tunnel.
Would definitely return and have already recommended to others.
