We've just returned from one night at this small and lovely site - it's very well organised with all the pitches clearly marked giving everyone their own space and the facilities are spotless. Beryl and her husband were very welcoming and always smiling despite the heavy downpours we had! There isn't a play area as such but the site is ideally located for LLanrwst which has a huge park area just 5 mins away and is a lovely town. I particularly liked being able to choose our own pitch - we will definitely be back to this small but perfectly run site - ideal for a quiet break in beautiful countryside

Having read previous reviews we were looking forward to our first visit to this site (and indeed our first camping trip). We were not disappointed.
The site is lovely and has beautiful surrounding views, we got there early and were lucky enough to be able to pick any pitch we wanted. The owner is lovely and was really helpful.
The toilet block and shower are basic but clean and this is the most important thing. There is a little cabin so you can do your washing up with a washing machine and tumble dryer (coin operated). There was no fridge available but the owner was great and allowed us to use some of her ice packs the next day if we needed to.
The only tiny gripe was that there was no socket to plug a hairdryer in, but obviously this is not actually that important (well to most people!)
It is very central and a great home base for lots of different days out. We will be definitely be back

Two tents, 6 of us in total visited in early June. The owners are extremely helpful and keen to make sure everything is ok.
The boys enjoyed helping out with the farm birds and playing with the dogs.
The toilets were always spotless. I commented that some soap in them would be helpful and no sooner said than done! Now that's service.
On arrival there was a dent where a caravan's wheels had been and the owner spotted this when showing us where to pitch and immediately filled it in with some soil.
This site deserves lots of success but like others we are loathe to let others know just what a gem it is.
All in all a lovely site for a holiday.

We stayed here 1st june for 3 nights, 4 adults and 6 chidren. We chose this because it was a quiet family site, instead of the usual hectic 'big' sites.
Well, we had the best family break in a long time! Beryll, the owner, couldn't be any nicer and helpful, always asking were we ok, letting the little ones help on her little farm with the geese, ducks and chickens! It has a lovely little stream running through the site where the kids love to play for hours! The site is absolutely spotless!
The toilets and showers (free!) were immaculate! She must clean them at least 10 times a day! There is also a block with washing machine and dryer!
The site is quite isolated, 3 miles from nearest village, but not a problem! Its very central to go out and about to all major attractions by car.
All in all,we would definitely recommend this site to any family wanting a great, quiet location, but not too far to go out and about!

This is a very nice site set in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Our party consisted of two tents & a caravan. All were adequately provided for with electric hook ups & car parking. The weather was great too.
The toilet block was very basic but adequate for a small site.
The lack of shopping facilities was no problem as the town of Llanwrst was just two miles away.
The site is situated where you can visit most parts of North Wales including Betsw-Coed & Snowdonia.
With permission from the proprietor, my sister & her family visited for a barbecue but,on arrival, we were charged £30 for the privilege. A real disappointment, so beware.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Just returned from a fabulous Easter break at this lovely site. The owners are the most welcoming hosts we ever came across, they are so friendly and helpful.
The site is spotlessly clean, the toilets and showers are cleaned about 10 times a day! Superb. Hot showers are free and the washing facilities exceptionally clean and also free hot water. There is a washing machine and dryer, which is very handy when you have 3 little ones covered in mud!
It is a small, quiet site, if you need entertaining then this isn't for you. If you like to camp in the peace and quiet then this is for you. A great little stream runs through the bottom of the field, my kids all loved it! The site is ideally located for touring this lovely part of Wales, Betwys Coed is about 10 mins away.
I am reluctantly letting you know how good this site is because the owners deserve it! However, I would like to keep this little gem all to ourselves. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely little site very peaceful a perfect get away from it all kind of place the owners are very helpful nothing is too much trouble for them the animals are great for the kids they have sheep geese chickens etc you are only a short drive away from the lovely town of Betws y Coed
There are on site facilities ie. showers, wash basins and toilets. It is a very clean, well looked after site. I would recommend this site to anyone, we have been going there for about three to four years now. We love it, we think you will too.
