Had a tour around this site because we had tried and failed to get booked it,but we had a look around anyway.
The site is mainly for statics. Hundreds of them. Tourers are an afterthought.
None of the other reviewers seem to have mentioned this but the touring park is on a significant slope. You would have problems hitching/unhitching and levelling your touring caravan. Motorhome, no chance.
Toilet/shower block looks very dated.
It is a great location though, superb view from cliff top overlooking town, but only a short walk to harbour, cathedral beyond, shops beyond that. You might prefer the other St Andrews sites though.

We stayed for one night here and had really been looking forward to it as the reviews had been excellent. The staff were friendly, the view stunning and close to St Andrews for touring. However, we were there on a Saturday night and our caravan was at the top near the clubhouse and play area. The entertainment from the clubhouse was exceptionally loud with booming music so loud we had difficulty listening to our telly. We have been to other sites with entertainment on but had never had anything like this. Also many older children were running in between the caravans shouting and screaming until late on.
£10 deposit gets you a key for the toilet block. It is old and the showers come on for only a few seconds at a time with a push button, although plenty of nice hot water. At 2am I visited the ladies and the door was wedged open with a tree branch and a male youth was standing at the door staring inside. Very strange. The next morning some children were playing in the play area while their mother sat over at the clubhouse yelling across at them.
We were only there for one night and didn't bother reporting any of this but perhaps we should have. Maybe we were just unfortunate with our experience.

Great big site loads of statics 2 touring pitches 1 at entrance and 1 at the far end where we were over looking the sea it was lovely. Pitches good size site has shop, restaurant, bar which was handy. Toilet facilities are not so good looked new but not clean at all. Toilet roll everywhere floor was soaking wet. Also I am a dog owner and I was told dogs kept on leads I seem to be the only person to keep to the rules of the site
Apart from that very close to St Andrews and its shops which are great for whatever you need.
If this site cleaned up I would go back as location and site are great apart from above.

We visited last weekend at the bank holiday. There was a sign at the gate saying it was full, but to be honest I thought there was spaces dotted around.
The site has lovely views over the sea & st andrews & at night it is worth going to the top of the cliffs to see all the lights on the dundee coast.
We were in the section at the far end of the site, it is all grass & mostly level. This toilet block has been refurbished & is lovely. Very clean & good showers. There is loads of space for the kids to play.
We had our tea at the clubhouse on the Friday night & while basic, it was very tasty. They did well to cope with 13 meals.
We had a walk down to the rock pools it was a lovely walk & graduated, so it wasn't too steep.
St Andrews is beautiful & well worth a visit.
We are planning to visit again, we had a great time

St Andrews is a gorgeous place and the site is right up the hill with great views.
The tent pitches are generous and the kids playground is good but has no swings. The shop is great and really well stocked with everything your little one will need for the (award winning) beach which is a beautiful walk down the hill (not so good coming back up mind you but a quick shandy in the bar sorts that out!) You can walk right into Town along the beach where there are loads of shops, cafes, bars etc.
The toilets are clean enough but very old and in major need of a refurb, the showers are the push button ones like you get in swimming pools and really need done up. The other thing which I wasn't too enthusiastic about was the washing up area. This is located behind the toilet block outside with only a small fence with a roof surrounding 2 sinks. The sinks were pretty grubby due to the fact that they are outside and dirt and dust gets blown in. Perhaps I am being a tad fussy with this but on the whole it is a good site.

Site fantastic, staff very helpful and plenty of room to pitch tent and did not feel penned in, even though it was quite busy.
Toilet block is planned for refurbishment and whilst it is still functional it is in need of upgrading particularly the shower but I know they know this.
The shop is small but well stock and reasonably priced the pub is cool and the food basic and again priced okay. I believe they also do takeaway.
The beach a short walk away.
Really want to say something rubbish about the site so that we can keep it a little secret as we will definitely be back but can't find anything to moan about.
Had a great time.

This site was fantastic! By the sea. It was beautiful and the site was flat. You could walk into town along the sea front in about 30 mins.
There was a pub on site which had things going on in it each night.
The people who ran the site were really nice.
You had to leave a £10 deposit for the toilet key but as long as you aren't planning on leaving the site until after 9 am it is easy to get the money back.
We will definitely stay there again.
