We Visited Parklands over the Easter break arriving on Thursday evening, The site is clean and well maintained although the signage on the road could be a little larger as we nearly went straight past it.
The toilet blocks are clean and regularly cleaned although with all sites there always the odd campers that don't clean up after themselves. There was plenty of hot water and thankfully it was on a normal tap and not the ten second push buttons that you find in most campsites these days
The swimming pool is small but again clean and the children that did use it seemed happy just to be in water!
The club house is again clean and the drinks very reasonably priced music is played until 10.30 and thereafter the site is very quiet.
The owners were helpful and only to pleased to help, on Easter sunday they held a easter egg hunt for the children and later on bought all children a chocolate bunny round courtesy of the Easter Bunny.
Wisbech is 4 miles away and has a decent little shopping centre, we went to skegness which is about an hours drive but was worth it for the fish and chips!
One minor thing we didn't like was the electrical mast that went over the park, although we fully accept there is nothing that can be done about this.
All in all a lovely Easter break just a few ideas which we shared as we left.
1. Hooks in the shower areas or at least a small seat as there is no where to place your clothing towels etc
2. Outside washing up area under cover rather than having to do it in the toilet area
3. Some cloths in the toilets so that we can wipe round the sinks after use.
4. Mop and bucket so that people can mop thir shower out after use.
5. Couple of bins jotted around the site.
Otherwise a nice site which we would use again, thank you

Being new campers I had few questions before we went and they were answered very quickly and efficiently. When we arrived they were very friendly at reception and showed us to our pitch.
Each pitch has a bordering hedge so no one can take more space than they should (although at 10m x 10m the pitches were large. The toilet block was allocated at the end of the first field (there are 2 fields) with 3 toilets, 2 showers, 2 sinks and washing up sink in the ladies and 2 urinals, 2 toilets, 2 showers and 1 washing up sink in the gents. The block was heated and there was free hot water for the showers, the only 'problem' with the showers was that there was nowhere to put your clothers other than hanging them over the door to keep them off the ground, a hook on the back of the doors would be a great help.
There was a small heated pool with outdoor shower but I can't comment as we didn't use it but others seemed to enjoy it!. The small shop sold basics and was open for a few hours in the morning and afternoon and they would deliver your morning papers to your pitch!
They have a takeaway food service which you can order and it will be delivered to your pitch so if you don't want to cook you don't have to!
They had a bar which we didn't use, which played loud music from approx 8pm till 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday night.
The dog walk was just around the perimeter of the site so you ended up doing laps.
Overall I think it was a good site with friendly staff and I would go back again. As said this was my first camping experience so I don't have anything to compare it to but I personally thought it was good and for £12/night excellent value for money!
