On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly warden who was only too happy to share all the information about the site and local area. We were shown to our pitch was was very clean and easy to position the caravan on.
The pitch had a water tap right outside which was really useful. The grass area was very well kept as were the rest or the grounds.
The toilet blocks were nice enough and kept really clean, which is always a priority for me. There was no charge for the use of the shower which was great.
The area just across the road which was fenced in for dogs was great, we felt the dogs were very safe here and this made our stay much more enjoyable.
We will certainly return here, and in fact intend to do so next month.

Nice flat field for our tent, no views to speak of and fairly well sheltered, unless the wind is coming from the north, as it was when we stayed! The showers were free, on deposit of a refundable £10.00.
Toilet and showers were adequate and clean, but the sinks lacked soap dispensers and the shower curtains gave only a small amount of privacy. I think when the campsite is full, these facilities may well be inadequate. The last night we were there was spoilt by some inconsiderate people, sadly there was no easy way to inform the owners to control.
Other than that well worth a visit, and give it 400 years or so, because of coastal erosion, the campsite will have sea views.

Having visited this site in a tent before, we decided to take our old-but-new-to-us tourer here for our maiden voyage! Once again, we weren't disappointed. This is the ideal site if you enjoy peace and quite but also have children who can ride their bikes in a safe but intrusive path around the camp. There are two sections to this site, one for tourers and then a child friendly field for tents/trailer tents. There's a local dog walk so the field, which is double fenced, is dedicated for children and ball games. Tents are sited around the edges of the field and because of it's size everyone on the entire camp could play ball games and still not interfere with the tents!
Awnings for tourers are charged extra so even though we don't have one yet, I doubt we'd use it here.
The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly (Judy is always on hand :-) ) and hot water is constant for both showering and pot washing. Only thing would make it better are extra hooks in the showers!
A great plus on this site is their push on recycling. The bins are all marked clearly and emptied regularly thus encouraging everyone to recycle. The site is kept clean, tidy and welcoming. The nearest pub/shop is about half a mile away. Night time is silent. Definitely a site to visit to relax - yes even with the kids.

This was our first year camping. We'd been once before in a completely different area and were very pleasantly surprised. We only booked in the last minute as we changed our plans due to the weather but found the owners very accommodating.
The tent area was this amazingly big field with loads of room for the kids to play ball without disturbing anyone or knocking into any other tents. The toilet block was beautifully clean with a nice area for dishwashing and information about the area.
Slight drawback was that the toilet block was not in the same field as the tents but wouldn't stop us from coming again! Not too far from nice beaches and towns and found plenty to do on a rainy day although we've been to the area before. We had a wonderful time here and would love to come again.

Just got back from this site less than 25miles from home, hubby and I had chance of a weekend away no kids.Flat site very very very clean and tidy.Everyone kept noise to a minimum and friendly towards each other, honestly one of the best small basic camp sites we have been on. HOT water to shower and wash up in.Judy very friendly and helpful good selection of cheap books to while away the hours.Nothing for the kids to do except ride their bikes round and round but we did not have them anyway.Simply put clean small and very basic site perfect to get away from it all and read the papers.

Brilliant little site. This is our second visit in 3 months and we love it. The facilities are basic but very clean - fresh flowers in the toilet blocks every day is a nice touch. The pitches are all well set out and numbered and although slightly sloping nothing too severe.
The huge tent/play field is great for a game of football.
There is plenty of tourist information in the dishwashing room, and the owner gives good local information. She's very friendly and helpful.
If you want a quiet break in the countryside, close to some fab beaches then this is the place to go.
One thing to remember is that the nearest petrol station in in Bridlington which is 9 miles away.

We LOVE this site!
We've been regular visitors to this area for many years and have just started camping with our family (2 kids aged nearly 6 and 9)
We're used to staying at another site with its on-site entertainment and goings on but we couldn't get booked in there when we wanted to make our 'maiden voyage' so we tried Mill Farm, just down the road.
I'm SO glad we did because now wild horses wouldn't drag us back to the other!
We LOVE the open camping field (with EHU) and the kids love to play in the open space.
Toilets, washing up facilities and showers are ok and owner is very helpful indeed.
Ok so it's not the most well equipped site (no play area or shop/bar) but Skipsea village is closeby with a pub and decent shop.
We plan to make this our 'regular' spot when we fancy something familiar. We love it!

Just returned from Mill Farm, the site is exceptionally clean. We stayed on a hardstanding which did slope slightly but nothing untoward. We were met at the door by the owner who proved most helpful. This is not a children's campsite as there are no play parks but if you want peace and quiet then I can recommend here, at night all you could hear was the birds and horses. The toilet blocks were very clean and tidy but could do with a heater. I went in and someone had opened the windows so it was cold there was plenty of hot water and the information on the walls of the dishes area was excellent. If you pick up the brochures then you find the offers. We went on a walk to find the beach approx 10 min to 15min through another campsite but the road ends at a cliff and access is gained by going to ulme

The name of this site suggests they have delusions of grandeur! Its in the 'country', but that's it.
There are two pitch sites/fields. One with hook-ups, mainly for caravans, the other a bare field that appears to be mainly for tents. We booked the hook-up side. The main site also has a small number of hard-standing pitches.
Both are generally level, but with the amount of rain they've seen over the summer, quite wet and boggy in places - with large puddles of standing water after rain. Both provide a good amount of shelter thru high hedges.
There is an 'adequate' loo/shower block, with free hot water (inc. Washing up facilities). Whilst the block is spotlessly clean, it is out of the ark as regards modernity. This place is key-access, for which they charge three quid returnable deposit. Just why I don't know, as there is no-one else anywhere near to take 'free advantage'!They also offer waste facilities for 'vans and campers. And, they are big on recycling.
The site in general, at first glance, looks smart and orderly. But, once you look around the fringes, its clear that apart from mowing the pitches, little else by way of maintenance gets done. The pitch numbers and hook-up points being partially obscured by bushes and vegetation. Ours being a full yard inside the hedge line.
The place is handy for walks to the beach, and has a very good general store and pub - with reasonable food (and decent ale), within walking distance. There is nothing whatsoever for kids of any age, near the site.
We stayed for three nights, but would have probably got bored after many more. And, at a full eighteen quid a night, we are unlikely to return.

Toilet block & showers Clean & tidy.
(you need a key though £3 deposit)
No childrens play Ground.
BUT a Big field to play Rounders, cricket, football etc. So bring your own entertainment.
Staff seemed friendly.
Area is quiet, pub seems like a local country pub, with price's to match (not cheap) but then what I expected.
All in all a great weekend.
