Lovely area to visit. Well run, friendly site. Henley is walkable from the site and well worth a visit. The road noise was unbearable though, we didn't sleep for the three nights of our stay ( we were pitched nearest to the road though, cant say what the other pitches were like).

A lovely tidy site with the wardens being ever so helpful, siting my unit for me as the gap was too small for my car to do it, they used their tractor, (the site was full). Very helpful in letting me know where I could walk my dogs along the Thames & how to get there, there is a dog walk on site. All in all an enjoyable stay & would recommend.

Recently spent 9 nights on this site. It is a very nice CC site, but as others and the CC say expect road noise, TV signal is very poor so to make life easy take your satellite, even with high trees many pitches can "see" the astra digital satellite with a low level dish. I agree with previous comments regarding us all paying the same so why are hard standings reserved for motorhomes? (Although this did not effect us this visit) I moved from a HS pitch near the road to another HS pitch a little further in the site after one night. Toilet block was spotless even though the site was full.
VERY IMPORTANT Do not trust Tom Tom to get you to this post code from the north, Tom Tom will take you off the M40 one junction early and you will end up on lanes, once you go so far their is no turning back and the lanes are that tight I have had to remove scratches from windows on each side of the caravan caused by bushes and trees. Go to Henley then find the site!

Just spent 4 nights at this site. Other than the road noise, which is clearly pointed out in the description of the site, this location is superb. By far the cleanest & best kept CC site we have stayed on so far. Excellent facilities & extremely helpful & welcoming wardens. Ideal base for Legoland & Windsor ( both just over 1/2 hour drive away). Henley also has a great deal of charm & a good playground for the children close to the rowing museum. It is a short drive or a long walk away from the site if you have youngsters! The kids loved the site & spent hours cycling to & from the play area. We will definitely be returning next year.

I read the reviews already on your site before we went so was prepared for some road noise, however the road noise was far worse than I anticipated. I live in the centre of a busy town and am used to noise but this was awful. If you are sensitive to road noise get a pitch away from the road or don't bother booking. On a more positive note the toilet and shower block was impeccable. The cleanest I have ever seen on any campsite. The whole site was beautifully kept and staff very friendly. There were also t.v. aerial boosters on the electric hook ups, we do not have t.v. So I am not sure how effective they are. I really think if they could sacrifice a small amount of land along the road edge of the site to plant some screening it would benefit the site greatly. I will not be going back as I think the quiet pitches are hard to get. Henley on Thames was well worth a visit and within easy walking distance from site.

We have just returned from a very short break at Four Oaks and had a fantastic time. We have two young boys who enjoyed the small but well kept play area and although we were pitched the other end of the campsite they kept wanting to go back again and again! The road noise was a slight problem at night, this was however explained in the site details before we booked. The toilet block as previously mentioned was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Overall the site is very clean and well looked after. We visited Henley which is a very short drive away and although we've been many times we still found new things to do. We will definitely be returning here again.

Pleasant, well situated site, on the edge of Henley. Good walking in the Chilterns and along the River, plenty to do and see. The site itself suffers from road noise which affects a good 50% of the pitches, but it is well maintained and has a wonderful toilet block.
The pitches feel close together when the site is full as there is use made of all areas, the grass pitches suffer when it is wet as it drains slowly.
However, what has happened to the first come first choice policy with the CC? This seems to have been forgotten and the choice pitches are retained for the larger units and motor homes whatever time they turn up. We all pay the same fees and membership, let us have the same choices.

Stayed here for a few nights in August. We were pitched along side the main road which is very busy but the noise from the road was not too bad in the night. Within walking distance of Henley - takes about 20 minutes. We went on a lovely boat ride up the Thames which takes around an hour. There is a large green on the edge of the river which is idea for picnics. The only pub on the riverside is the Angel which has a decking area next to the bridge into Henley. Site is just as you expect from CC, clean,w ell kept, usual good standard. If travelling from the West on the M4 it is quicker to leave the motorway at Reading and take the a road to Henley. Will be returning to this site again in the future.

We thought this was a great site and up to the usual high standards of the caravan Club. It's ideally based for many attractions - our kids enjoyed the model village at Beckonscot and the Didcot railway centre. Henley itself is a lovely town but we thought it was a bit overun with boutiques and the like, the pub prices were quite expensive as well. The site is near a main road and as mentioned in the site guide, some traffic noise is to be expected. You are also in the flight path for Heathrow as well! However we still think its a great site and the Wardens do a great job - the place was immaculate. Thoroughly recommended!
