A smashing site looking out to sea and over the Tweed with great views of the harbour complete with seals. The wardens were friendly and helpful, especially when asked about the local area.
The site is well maintained with one of the best CC site toilets we've came across, nice and warm, fresh smelling and clean. There's even an ice cream van calls round in the evening.
Trains pass by the site on a regular basis but are not obtrusive at all, in fact it's quite entertaining as the train that whisks by is seen crossing the viaduct over the River Tweed exactly 1 minute later.
It's a 30 minute walk into town or catch a bus at the site gate for just £1. 30(every 30 mins). Asda is a short walk away for your provisions. Berwick itself is an interesting market town steeped in history. Take a very enjoyable, easy walk round the town walls or a riverside stroll, you wont be disappointed.
Plenty of shops, pubs and eating places. The Barrels Alehouse is the pick of the pubs with real ales and real bands on. Wetherspoons selling great beers for just £1. 25 a pint, whats not to like?
Overall a great stay at this fab site-nice one.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Scotland. Lovely site, we were on a grass pitch with amazing views to Berwick Upon Tweed and the sea.
There is a railway line which runs along the back of the site but it didn't cause us any problems. The site was very well kept, the bins regularly emptied and the staff friendly and helpful.
Pre printed directions to the supermarkets was very helpful. Good Information Room which was open at all times.
Wi Fi available, buy a card for £5 for 5 hours.
We were sorry we were only here for 2 nights and will definitely return to see more of the area as we only had time to visit Holy Island.

Just got back from this lovely site. Very clean. Very friendly. A great base for visiting the surrounding areas. The 60 mile trip to Edinburgh is well worth it. As is Alnwick, Holy Island and Kelso.
The toilet and shower block are immaculate and the wardens are friendly and helpful. The nearby beach in Spittal is dog friendly but clean. It is also very quiet with a great cafe.
With just 1 small amusement arcade the sea front is great for relaxing, my 2 children aged 13 and 10 love it as it isnt loud and crowded.
The artist Lowry painted here! the site has 93 pitches but feels a lot smaller. We are visiting again for a week to finish off the kids school holidays relaxing.
Going to sleep to the sound of the sea is just what the doctor orders.

Had a brilliant week considering the overall weather!
Toilets and showers were spotless and lovely and warm. Good heating in the shower block. Most pitches were level with some great views of the bay.
M & S, Asda and Tesco close by, basics could be bought at the camp site. The wardens were very welcoming.
Good area to e with unspoilt bays and lovely walks.
Only complaint was really about the area where we found it difficult to find a pub with a beer garden that we could go to with the dogs. The Plough was a good choice only five mins away.

Lovely clean campsite, with good spaced pitches.
The toilet blocks were up to the usual standard that you would expect to see from a Caravan Club site.
The wardens are very friendly and there are great views out to the sea.
The only downside is that there are very few amenities in the surrounding area - we tried to find a shop at 5pm only to find out it closed at 4pm on a Saturday and didn't open on Sunday.

Stayed here over the Halloween weekend. This site is up to the usual caravan club standard, plenty of facilities, clean and tidy.
Nice walk into the town which is very pleasant, nice pub on the corner just before the bridge to stop off for a quick pint of ale before braving the biting cold of the northumberland coast. The site does have views over the river and to sea but there are a few council houses blocking the view.
All in all, an ok site to use as a stop off for a trip up to scotland but not for a break. We got caught behind a nasty car accident on the way up and were delayed in our arrival by 10 mins, making it 20:10, the warden certainly made us aware of the inconvenience!

What a lovely peaceful site. Clean and friendly. We loved the quiet no rush life here. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. There is an asda in berwick upon tweed if you need it (also tesco and morrisons a little further).
We loved the clean beach, one very small amusement arcade, a small play area for little peeps and a lovely cafe with the nicest people and the loveliest cakes!. So quiet. Lowry painted here! we visited Ednigburgh(50miles).
Also Alnwick which has lovely gardens and small shops plus 1 of the oldest book shops in the country. Holy Island is an absolute must. I would recommend this site.
We are going twice this year for weekends. X

Really enjoyed this site the views were fantastic looking over the bay and the whole long weekend experience was excellent. The site was immaculately clean and so was the toilet block.
The site is well located for visiting Berwick Upon Tweed and Holly Island and the weekend we was there Spittle Bay had plenty going on as well.
Plenty of places to eat in Berwick and lots of take aways close by.
All in all a great place to stay and we would return.

We have just returned from a long weekend at this site (which we found using our Sat Nav). It looked ideal so we went into to ask if they had any spaces. First reaction was an unfriendly 'NO' we are full, then is was a grudging OK. There were loads of spaces so I don't know why the wardens were initially so unwelcoming.
The site is great, big pitches that take a car, caravan and an awning. Top class facilities and good views. The walk into town is fine but uphill on the way back (we got a taxi the second time) Plenty of restaurants and pubs in town although we only sampled one for an early evening meal. Would go again.

This caravan club site has stunning views. We arrived during the Spittal Gala weekend and pitched on number 21. During the afternoon some local children on the footpath just outside the camp started throwing stones at our van. We told the wardens who responded quickly and said the previous people on the pitch had also had stones thrown.
The site was full but the next morning we managed to move and had no more trouble. The wardens were extremely helpful, even coming round in the evening to check everything was alright. They hoped this was a one off occurrence. Apart from that we would certainly use the site again. Loved the location and everything about it.
