Stayed at this site, very peaceful. Excellent toilet/shower block. We had two nights there and will go back if we can get in. Very popular for adults only. Bus into York, next to race course, you can walk on the river bank if you wish into York. As I'm disabled it took us 20 min.

This is a lovely site about 18 pitches all hard standing. Just spent Xmas and new year there. Toilets spotless, owners friendly, and really care for the site. At £11 per night it is excellent value, and being Adult Only, one is assured of a peacefull stay. Stayed several times previous to xmas visit, but first time with directional roof mounted aerial, and I can confirm tv reception very good, even on digital tv.(point towards Terry's factory and not in the direction of owners aerial). A credit to the owners !

What a class campsite and £11 a night what a bargain all nice level hard standing pitches and very friendly owners. The only downside to this place is the water fill up point is at the entrance and no lighting around the camp site ! But i suppose at £11 a night you cant moan! There is a bus stop within 5mins walk that takes you direct into York centre or if you feel up to it you could walk it. It took us 25mins. The best bit of this campsite is that its adult only so no screaming kids !

Small but friendly, a big plus in being an adult only site. Very reasonably priced also. Situated in rural surroundings, so there are no shops within distance. However, the village is not too far away where there is a pub and general shops. A good walk into York itself, the less energetic will need a car. Toilet block small only two toilets, with a shower cubicle but very clean. The only downside to the site was that we could not get a reception at all to our TV aerial, we had to do without a TV for the stay, however, would book again if travelling to York.
