Can very much recommend this camp site. Located on a working farm and directly on the coastal path gave for an outstanding experience. Facilities are slightly basic but work great and are clean. The views from out of my tent were outstanding and worth the stay alone. Moelfre is a short walking distance and is very nice. This site has a very friendly atmosphere and a community feel to it made us feel very welcome. This is a walkers paradise with the coastal path going both ways from the site.

Myself and my eldest son stayed here for one night simply to go fishing for which we found it completely brilliant. Great friendly welcome by mother and son. Location was perfect and views to die for. Site itself slopes in most places but nothing you can't sort out with a couple of blocks. Showers and toilet blocks very basic but very clean. Not far to walk to a local shop and the village pub. A real gem of a site and we will certainly be going back again and again.

Fantastic location with the most wonderful views and I am from South Pembrokeshire!
Mrs Evans was as friendly as stated in other reviews and has a fantastic memory for names and faces.
The site is basic but very clean with lots of space for the kids to play, however, there are a few spiders webs in the toilet block (which is a bit dated) which tended to put my little one off.
The rock pools are great as are the walks although Moefre does seem to lack public houses where one can get a meal, without jumping in the car.
If you like your stay basic and want to get away from it all without spending a fortune, this is the site for you. Be warned, however, it can be very windy on the coast and the weather can be changeable - high winds, torrential rain, thunder and lightning all in one night only to wake up to a flat calm blue sea in the morning!

Having visited this site for many years and with many fond memories we are going back this year for kids first tent adventure.
The owner and sons have got it right. Other local campsite owners need to take a page out of their book. Facilities are basic, but always clean.
Site is close to everything a great camping holiday is all about.

Had a great weekend with the family - we were lucky to be on the sea wall with fantastic views. Mrs Evans and her son did a fantastic job, the toilet block was clean and plenty of hot water for pots, the only downside is finding 20p for the shower will have to save more 20p for the next time we visit. The kids loved playing in the rock pools, crabbing, playing on the beach and padling in the sea.

I can only agree with all reviews that are already posted, but would like to add please don`t be put off because there is no website to look at. I nearly was and would have missed a gem of a site, especially if anyone loves fishing and walking, best views on island.
Also try newborough for a fantastic beach and woodland walks both child and dog friendly.
Also I have seen tesco direct deliver to 2 tents hows that for service

Just back from this cracking little site. I was here in 1985 and more recently 2003 and nothing much has changed!
Yes there's now loads of electrical hookups, mainly hogged by the caravans and a more recent addition is a rough road around the main field,
The toilet block is no more than a minutes walk from any part of the site and is scrupulously clean with plenty of hot water.
The showers take a 20p coin, you'll need at least 40p though.
Mrs Jones is the perfect host, popping around the site chatting to those who want to engage. Milk, yoghurt, eggs and juices all purchased via an honesty box and a big freezer to pop your blocks in.
Lovely site, lovely location. If you like your sites a bit basic (no pub/clubhouse etc) don't miss out on this gem at £20/night for a family tent

We love Nant bychan so much this is our 8th stay.
The site is always spotless, owners really friendly, plenty of showers (20p) and toilets, on site shop for eggs milk etc.
The views are amazing, the sunset and sunrise stunning.
Moelfre is just a short walk away along the stunning coastal path. The kinmel arms is a lovely pub to sit and watch the world go by, it serves typical pub food but excellent quality.
There are a few quaint little shops to visit.
The coastal walk is a must.
A beautiful little village with loads of history.

We have just returned from 3 nights at this great site. Would have stayed for a couple more but the notorious Anglesey weather was very wet and windy. Mrs Evans was very welcoming and showed us to several available pitches, we were able to choose one that suited our tent. The grounds were all immaculate - beautifully mowed, no litter, well drained and no stones or rocks.
Toilet and shower blocks were spotless, cleaned twice a day from what I could see. Showers are 20p for 2 minutes, hot water readily available in washing up area. Milk available from the farm house and a freezer for storing food or ice packs.
We tried the local fish and chip shop - very good, all cooked fresh to order. Pantri Anns tea shop - great for coffee and cakes, breakfast and for a lovely lunchtime sandwich, all very reasonable in price.
Tents pitched in rows, widely spread apart - for the children to play.
Electrical hook ups available around the edge of the field. Some pitches were sloping, but more flat spots were to be found in the central area.
Will definitely be returning to this great site, lovely sea views and great fishing to be had from the rocks, although we did not catch anything!

We have visited this site twice recently. It is a good site in a great area and we will certainly be going again soon. The owner and her son are both helpful and friendly and as soon as we arrived, made us feel welcome. The pitches have plenty of room and the facilities, (showers and toilets) are kept clean and tidy. We did some fishing off the rocks adjacent to the site and caught some mackerel for our tea!
It is an easy walk along the coastal path to both Moelfre and the local beach although the beach does get packed on a Seturday and Sunday with 'weekend sailors'. The Moelfre chip shop has now been taken over by local people and we found the fish and chips to be of very good quality. We would highly recommend this site.
