Just got home from a fab 3 night stay at this site which is almost on the beach (rocky beach. The pitches are good perhaps a few with a bit of an incline. We were 4 adults and a 14yr old in 2 tents. The main part of our stay was spent crabbing on the beach and we must have caught about 30 between us. Lovely coastal walks and Liverpool Arms in Beaumaris is unbeatable for value and quality food. Mrs Evans welcomed us and the facilities are basic but clean, 2 separate cubicles for private showering. Toilet block and other shower rooms in a block. Two wash rooms and you can blow your hair free. Showers are 20 p. We will be going again.

We have just returned from 4 nights at this site and had a great time. We stayed as a large group with 2 tents and a motorhome. The site fees were reasonable for the time of year £16 for a tent and £18 for the motorhome. The site is well maintained and the showers, toilets and washing up facilities are all very clean. The site leads directly onto a rocky beach, with plenty of rock pools, which was great for the kids to explore. We saw seals playing in the water next to the rocks. About 10mins drive is Bennllech (excuse the spelling!) where we found a launderette, decent sized Coop and a good chippy located behind the Texaco garage. For a decent shower you need at least 40p and even that doesn't allow for any time enjoying the warm water! Only criticism would be that from the end of the field there was quite a trek to reach the loos but I'll let that go because we had the benefit of the panoramic sea view!

We were a little worried when we arrived to find the only pitch left was one on the very apex of the slope, and our caravan handbrake was playing up, but the owner's son was very helpful, even offered to reverse the caravan for us with his landrover ( we managed ourselves in the end) and he brought lots of blocks for us to chock the van so we were fine. The views were excellent and the beach at the end of the campsite field.Excellent for fishing too, lots of mackeral were being caught. The site toilets and showers were family orientated and very clean and the water hot ( 20p for the shower. I had a decent one for 40p ) The site also has a little shop operated on a trust system, selling milk, pop, orange juice and eggs. There is a chip shop a minute's drive away or a few minutes walk which was handy, and there is a local shop selling most things and papers. Great site and well worth staying at.

Stayed 2 nights in our camper. 2 people, van and EHU, £20 a night and well worth it. The site is right on the sea (apart from a hedge and a path). There's a gate in a corner so you don't have to leave the site to get onto the rocks (no sand). I snorkelled a couple of times, refreshingly cold (:-)) but not much to see, a few fish, crabs and a couple of very small jelly fish. The latter looked like they might sting so take care.
Site owners were very friendly, showing us to our pitch on arrival. The site slopes but we were fine with chocks. You need a couple of 20ps to get a decent shower. Facilities clean, no problem. Paths out of the site to the small town (nice little place with pubs, cafe and life boat station) and out onto the Anglesey Coast Path.
We were lucky enough to be treated to a display by a pod of porpoise, which you could easily see from the pitch or from the rocks, about 8 of them in total, fantastic.

We really liked this campsite. We were given a really friendly welcome and as it wasn't busy we were offered the option of putting our tent in a caravan pitch. The tent pitches looked fine but as it was really windy some of the caravan pitches looked to us like they offered more protection.
The shower and toilet facilities were spotless. I can't remember seeing washing up facilities but I wasn't looking. 20p for the shower is needed.
It's a fairly basic but has a cozy feel to it, I certainly didn't need anything else.
The campsite is on the coast and the view is breathtaking. A quick trot down from our tent and we were on the rocks, watching the waves crashing.
In Moelfre itself we were not that keen on the Kimmel Arms but it was more that it just wasn't to our taste than there being anything wrong with it. There was another pub a little further away from the campsite but I can't remember the name, that was pretty nice but looked like it was more for food than having a drink. Laura's Cabin offers scrumptious food at breakfast / lunchtime and Anne's Pantry served fantastic food in the evening. If you want to venture further away there is an amazing restaurant in Red Wharf Bay called The Old Boathouse.
The area is beautiful and I recommend this campsite and the area highly

Upon arrival, the site was breathtaking. Bit sloppy, mind you, but we managed. The kids were off having a great time playing on the rocks by the sea, bearing in mind they are teenagers. The toilets and showers were super clean. Just don't forgot your 20p's. Lovely pub down in Moelfre. Kids made up with the working farm. A great site and we will certainly be visiting again.

For a unspoilt site this is it. Great views, walks. 2 pubs, one even lets dogs in. I have been 3 times and love the simple clean way the site runs. The owners are nice and helpful. This is a working farm so there is no fancy stuff, but if stuck on entry or leaving a tractor/landrover is all ways on hand! Ask for the pitch you can cope with as some need a good amount of rising up. To see dolphins swim past the end of camp site is stunning. And adds to the whole charm of the site.

I have visited this campsite since I was 4 years old and now I am 12. I visit the campsite 6-7 times a year and every time the whole family enjoys it. We started off in a tent, then we progressed to a folding camper and now we have a touring caravan.
When we are there we enjoy fishing which is very good when the mackerel are in through the summer, but even when you don't fish there are plenty of things to do such as coastal walks and there are are a few shops to visit down in the village aswell as a pub and a lifeboat station.
Most of the time we spend on the campsite as there is plenty of room to play. The toilets and showers are spotless. Also a large freezer to store food in.

Stayed for two nights in this beautifully situated site with clean showers and toilet facilities. The staff were friendly and the place had a relaxed feel about it. It's a 15 minute walk into the village (Moelfre) and we found an excellent pub there.
This site is directly on the coast with stunning views, but it's not a beach.Very rocky. You wouldn't want to swim there, but other campers told me the fishing was fabulous.
We'd certainly stay there again.

Lovely site, really relaxing. Great views out to sea, short walk to beach. Really clean showers and toilets, well worth a try if you want a relaxed and friendly campsite. Was my first ever time camping and i've fallen for it!
Site has all the basics that you'll need, hook up, water etc. On a bit of a slope so if you've got a pitch by the sea you've got a brisk up slope walk for the toliets, but if you're at the top like we were then you're sorted! I can really really recommend this campsite! I love it!
