What a gem! The site is very accessible from the M2 but is a quiet paradise. We were told to arrive when we liked and choose our own pitch, which we did.
The site is beautifully maintained and the toilets are spotless. They even provided television aerial cables for those of us who hadn't got one.
The owner is lovely and her thatched cottage and garden are something to behold. We only stayed for four nights but left feeling really relaxed.
This was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. Please don't come here, we want to make sure there's always a pitch free for us!

I don't want to praise this site too much, cos if the word gets out just how nice it is we'd struggle to get a pitch each week.
A fantastic little site site, tucked away in a small valley.
Very quiet & peaceful. Pitches flat and green, very well kept, separated with hedgerows. One fresh water point & one grey waste water / Chemical waste point.
There are no washing up facilities and you have to take your rubbish away with you. There is a unisex Toilet / shower block that has 2 shower/ toilets cubicles, 2 wash hand basins and there's a separate Disabled toilet.
Shower is £1 for six Mins which is ample enough time (Even when you shower together to save money). This is not a site for kids.
Can't wait to return.

We stayed here for a short weekend Friday 6th May for 2 night, this site is only 30 minutes from where we live, but the feeling we had while staying there, we could have been in the middle of the new forest, it was quiet, just the sound of birds singing,
The pitches are laid out very well, the grass is cut perfect it makes you feel guilty walking on it, and at only £15 a night with out an awning £17 with, its the perfect small camp site for a quiet weekend.
And there policy of turn up when you like on the day off arrival and leave when you want on the day of departure is very refreshing, it gave us the whole day on our last day on the Sunday.
The owners are very friendly, yes there are only 2 toilets/showers, but we never had to wait, and its no hardship to fetch home your rubbish,
Due to the site in a small valley TV signal is poor but next to the electric socket is an aerial socket, if you don't have a long enough aerial lead the owners have one you can borrow, which then gives you a perfect signal.
Canterbury is only 13 miles away, and Ashford is only 9 miles, there are a few pubs a short drive from the site that do food.
We will definitely use this campsite again.

Just spent 4 glorious days here the week before Easter, the noisiest thing on site, was the dawn chorus.
Agree with all the good comments, easy cycling Whitstable to Margate and take in some culture at the new Tate venue the Turner Contemporary, then enjoy some Oysters in Whitstable on the return trip.
Watch out for channel crossing offers we did one with P&O, day trip - 2 people with car £24 (all in) and three free bottles of wine, stonking good value.
So much to do in this area, we will return.

Just spent a long weekend at this site lovely lovely lovely oh and did I say lovely.
As mentioned before just two showers(£1 for 6 mins) and toilets in unisex cubicles spotlessly clean but not very warm at this time of year.
Site is very quiet and relaxed the owners Graham & Teresa are smashing really friendly people. The grass on site is amazing just like walking on a well kept lawn.
Monks Cottage is central to many places of interest. Faversham is very close by and offers many pubs and restaurants to sample as well as some very beautiful old buildings. Whitstable is not too far away, a weekend visit here is a must the fish and chips sold near the fish market are yummy.
To sum up this is a great site, very genuine friendly owners,in a great rural location if you want peace and quiet this ones for you. We have already booked a return visit

What a great little site. We only travelled from Sittingbourne (about 7 Miles) but felt like we could have been anywhere. The site is very well kept but relaxed. The pitches are big and defined by shrubbery. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the toilets and showers, although unisex and only 2 of them, are spotless. The showers are charged at £1 pound for 6 mins which is plenty of time to wash properly. We met up with some other local regulars at the site and got on so well we have all pledged to meet up bank holiday weekend. The atmosphere here is so relaxing I think we will become regulars. I really can recommend this site

Great campsite, rural setting. Extremely hard to find, because of missing signposts. Best is to use the Postcode or these coordinates: 51.256403,0.867405
I can confirm the other reviews, 2 showers/toilet-units (shower 1 GBP/6 Minutes), unisex, spotless and clean.
Unfortunately no rubbish bins; you have to take your litter with you.
Campsite over all very well maintained, would definitely visit again.

The site was extremely well kept and clean and was a joy to visit if even only for 1 night.Electric and tv hook up, 2 cubicle unisex toilet/shower and each plot had its own little bay. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. For the time of year an absolutely excellent site.

We stayed here over New Year 2008/2009 on a very small UK Campsites meet. A great little site. Very basic but very well kept, you feel like walking on velvet when on the grass. TV coverage is no good so you need a lead to plug in, leads and plug in is free but you may need to take your own lead as not too many available. EHU is only 10 amps so if your going in the winter months be prepared to use gas if you can as well for heating. Only two toilets and two showers so limited, may be busy in high season. Showers are on a metre and cost £1. You need to take your own rubbish away with you when you go. Tesco in faversham is only about 5 minutes drive away (as no on site shop)and there is also a nice little town centre to wander around. Whitstable, Ramsgate and Margate are not to far either. Over all a nice little site and nice owners. Would highly recommend!

Have been to this site many times in all seasons and all weathers. Its quiet, peaceful, a great break for a long weekend. All are grass pitches so can be a little wet at times. Search out the local village pubs for some great food. If you like your tv, extension leads are available (free) We use our free view box. On really clear nights the view of the stars (no town lights glow) is amazing. The site is in a small valley, farmland all round, lots of wildlife. A well kept tidy site. No washing up place, showers are very clean unisex, x 2 cubicles w/c showers together. Going back very soon.
