 Loved the location fantastic walks to matlock.
The pub and the pitch were perfect, everywhere immaculately clean .
Landlord and landlady so friendly

Nice site, plenty of space and clean toilets /showers.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Did not eat at the pub but the food looked nice.

Well priced, good clean campsite.
Fabulous pub with friendly staff and amazing food. Pub also has entertainment.
Nice clean showers which are a good size.
Only a short walk into Matlock.

Great location in the heart of Matlock, about 1 mile to Matlock center and just over a mile to Matlock bath, there are numerous walks from the campsite and many places of interest locally, heights of Abraham, Cirich transport museum, Gulliver's kingdom to name a few.
The campsite itself is located behind the pub in a field, however it was very peaceful, you will need leveling ramps as it's not Very flat ( not surprising given its location).
Staff at the pub are very friendly and welcoming, as are the locals, there is entertainment at weekends and food is served everyday except Mondays.
Facilities are all adequate, two shower rooms and a toilet and the fresh water tap, all located at the rear of the pub and kept clean as well
All in all a very good place to stay and we have already booked again as we enjoyed our trip so much.

Brilliant service from owners and staff.
Facilities were great and clean,
The meal we had at the pub was fantastic,
Very close to matlock.

Great site, grass or hard standing with electrics.
Great pub, quiz night on the first day then karaoke on the next.
Had a good time, thank you.
Set in a fabulous area with plenty to do.

We had a very nice stay. Landord / landlady very welcoming.
Very good food cooked by landlady. Beer ok.
Toilets showers ok.
Pretty quiet site.
Easy access to matlock. And buses.
Will be back soon as.

Very welcoming, super pitch with Hard standing and electric hookup,
Adequate facilities on site and brilliant location close to the town centre.
Friendly feel to the site and would definitely return.

Nice quiet site. Friendly host. 2 minute walk through the park into Matlock.
Only downside is the church bells ringing which is next to the site.
Clean toilet/shower.
Didn't eat in the pub but the food looked really nice
