We have just returned from spending two nights at this park and we had a lovely time. I stayed with my husband and two daughters (aged 3 and 6) and our stay was no doubt helped by the good weather.
I was a bit unsure about coming to this park as I had called enquiring about a late departure twice before booking and felt the lady on reception was quite unhelpful and negative, but I ended up booking anyway.
On arrival the lady on reception was very pleasant and gave advice about what pitch would be best for our young children. There is a walled garden which seems to be very popular as all these pitches were full at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon so we went beyond this to a little area set up with around 12 pitches close to a playpark. It was lovely and quiet and very safe for the children to run around. It has been voted the best caravan park by my children so that must say something!
The proximity to Blair Drummond Safari Park was a big pulling factor for this site, and we had a great day our there on the Saturday. The only improvement that could be made is preferential rates for those staying at the caravan site.
The toilet block looked like it had been refurbished as it had brand new digital showers and everything was spotlessly clean. These are the best that I have used since buying our caravan at the start of the summer.
In summary I would return to this park again as it was peaceful, whilst offering enough to keep our children happy, with excellent toilet/shower facilities.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this park.
Extremely disappointed as the cost was £24.00 per night, the play park has a basket swing, small flying fox and a few old wooden pieces of play equipment.
The toilet block was clean however lots of flies (not sure if that because of all the trees)
Being adjacent to the safari park I was surprised that no discount was given the only advantage was multiple entry to the park which does not justify staying her.
With no paths leading from the site we were unable to walk anywhere, having 2 kids a little walk would have been nice.
Would not recommend this park and wont be back.
Lady in reception was nice.

Easy to get to, just 200 yards off main road, watch out for couple of speed bumps. Excellent site, well maintained. Toilet block immaculate, good play area for kids. Great value if visiting the Safari Park, get day tickets at reception and can be used every day of your stay at the park. 5 miles from Stirling and 2 miles from nearest village Doune. Small shop on site but very limited stock.

Spent 5 lovely days at this beautifully maintained site set within a large walled area.
The facilities have recently been refurbished and were a joy to use.
The site is ideally located for the safari park and surrounding Trossachs area.
Very safe for children with many wooded areas for them to play in.
Only a short drive into Stirling for all you would need.

If you are thinking of staying at Blair Drummond, be very careful about this one!
This campsite is ideally situated near to Stirling and on the doorstep of the Safari Park and is from the outside, a very attractive site.
I am sorry to say, however, that I was so, so hugely disappointed by this campsite.
The toilets were not clean, (or even cleaned, it appeared, in the two days we were there), the electric hook-up didn't work at all times.
The owners were rude and it appeared that our existence there and visit was more of an inconvenience for them rather than trade.
The office closes at 5 p.M. And the couple who run it are loathe to speak to anyone after this time so make sure you get there by this time if you do intend to visit.
