What a lovely site. Absolutely immaculate. This is the perfect site except for one thing, there aren't many visitors attractions. If you just want to sit and relax then this is the place for you.
Absolutely spotless, quiet and friendly. Pub just 5 minutes walk along a wide grass verge and footpath. Lovely dog walk on site.
Spotless facilities, shower is a pound for seven minutes (which was plenty) although as previously mentioned there is no hot water to the sinks.
Very good tv reception, lots of space between vans and lovely wildlife.
However, we couldn't find enough to do as there doesn't appear to be many attractions nearby.

Lovely tranquil site. It is immaculately kept and the owners very friendly and helpful. Pitches large and not too close together.
The washrooms spotless, though non provision of hot water at the basins is annoying and I feel a bit mean. There is only one shower and since the site can take over 18 units you can find yourself queueing. The fenced dog area is a brilliant idea.
But warning to dog owners like ourselves who like to take dogs for more vigorous walks off site. To reach a public footpath or quiet lane means a walk along a very busy, straight stretch of road with no footpath or put the dogs in the car to take them.
Owner's response: This is not true. We have a grass path when turning right out of the site which leads to a main path and many public footpaths over fields from here. If you turn left from the site its a 2 minute walk on the road to reach a quiet lane. It is not necessary that you have to put dogs in cars to get a walk.

As others say a quiet, friendly adults only site north of Howden although that can be walked to in about half an hour or cycled to in 10 mins. Along mostly a designated cycle route. Howden itself has a supermarket, chippie, pubs, cashpoint etc.
The pub down the road Barnes Wallis is GBG listed with quality real ales and food except Mon. And right next to the station. We travelled to York during our stay(about 40 mins).
The site itself is very modern with one shower(£1 coin or token operated) but curiously no hot water at wash basins, very quiet at night except for the local Tawny Owl Paid £14/night for two on hardstanding with ehu.

The site is well kept with spacious pitches and very peaceful. Recently developed from Caravan Club CL but facilities were disappointing. The toilets and shower were very clean, but no hot water for handwashing in the toilet area and a hand towel only, no drier or paper towels. One shower for twenty pitches and £1 for seven minutes! I feel the facilities let down what could be an excellent site. Owner pleasant and friendly.
Pub nearby and railway station if you don't want to use the car. Plenty to do in the area and Beverley is well worth a visit or two, beautiful Minster and church and a fun town trail.
Tesco and Morrison at Goole five miles away.
Directions on Site website excellent. DO NOT USE SAT NAV AS THIS TAKES YOU THROUGH THE CENTRE OF HOWDEN.

What a great place to stay very quiet, pitches are great size not overlooked by others, toilets and showers were spotless. Its a five min walk to the pub/restaurant which has a great food. Well worth a mention, the train station is next to the pub so you could go to york/hull/selby for the day. Owners were very friendly and very helpful. We will be going again very soon cant wait well done to the owners fora great place for us adults to stay

Just come back from Brenda House and what a find.
The site is adult only, it is spotlessly clean and very quiet and peaceful.
The pitches are huge with lots of room in between, the site is laid out with privacy in mind so you don't look straight on to other users.
Well behaved dogs are welcome if they are kept on a lead.
I must also mention the very nice owners and the low cost of this site I have stayed on sites that have been twice the price and have not been half as good.
This site is only fifteen miles away from were I live but when your sat in your chair in the sun it could be anywhere in the country.

Stayed there over the easter weekend (what a little gem )the toilet and showers were spotlessly clean
The site itself was kept beautifully each pitch had lots of space all with hard standing
The site was located just outside Howden and was ideal for visiting Selby, Hull and York . There is a pub just 5 mins walk serving fantastic food and real ales (Barns Wallis)
Nice fish and chip shop in Howden highly recommended
Will definitely be returning can't wait to return
Many thanks to the owners for keeping a lovely site
